The Light Side // Anakin Skywalker x reader

Chapter 5

We looked up to see where the bullet came from and at that moment we saw that somebody flew away. The person changed in his true form.

I took the dart out 'Toxic dart.' 

Back at the Jedi temple, we stood in front of the council. Master Yoda gave us another assignment 'Track down this bounty hunter you must, Obi-wan.' Master Windu continued 'Most importantly, find out who he's working for.'

My thoughts go straight to Padmé 'What about Senator Amidala? She will still need protecting.' Yoda pointed at me and Anakin. 'Handle that the two Padawan will.'

'(Y/N) and Anakin, escort the senator back to her home planet of Naboo.' I saw that Anakin was nervous. 'She'll be safer there. And don't use registered transport. Travel as refugees.'

But he had feedback on what Master Windu said 'As the leader of the opposition it will be very difficult to get Senator Amidala to leave the capital.' Yoda reacted to him 'Until caught this killer is, our judgment she must respect.' 

(Y/N), go to the senate and ask Chancellor Palpatine to speak with her about this matter.' Then we dismissed. 

I went to the Chancellor to tell him about it. 'I will talk with her. Senator Amidala will not refuse an executive order.'

'Thank you, Your Excellency.'

He went over to small talk. 'And so, they've finally given you an assignment.' I nodded. 'Your patience has paid off.'

'I've been taught well, also got great guidance.' We walked away from the window. 'You don't need guidance (Y/N). In time, you will learn to trust your feelings.' That word, feelings, that word made me feel anxious. Trusting my feelings, my feelings for Anakin. Should I follow it or denied it? It isn't allowed tho. But... I'm insecure about all of this. I don't want to lose being a Jedi. Is this a good thing, or a bad thing? 

He continued 'You are the most gifted Jedi I have ever met. Anakin is competition, he is also a strong Jedi.' I felt a glimpse of proudness. 'Thank you, Your Excellency.' 

'I see you becoming the greatest of all the Jedi, (Y/N), even more, powerful than master Yoda. I doubt that. "More powerful than Master Yoda?" It can't be. I'm just a Padawan, learning how to be a Jedi. Anyway, I took it as a compliment though.

At the Jedi temple, Master Kenobi, Master Windu, and Master Yoda were talking about sending me and Anakin.

'I am concerned about our Padawan. They are not ready to be given this assignment.' But Yoda tried to convince him that this was a good choice. 'The council is confident in its decision, Obi-Wan.'

Master Windu also added '(Y/N) and Anakin has exceptional skills.'

But he was still concerned 'But they still have much to learn, Master, especially (Y/N). This only will be her second mission. And speaking about Anakin. His abilities have made him, well arrogant.'

'Yes, Yes. A flaw more and more common among Jedi, hmm. Too sure of themselves they are. Even the older, more experienced ones.' Yoda lectured them.

'Remember, Obi-Wan, if the prophecy is true, our apprentices are the only ones who can bring the Force back into balance.'
