Chapter 12

We went back to the ship, Anakin laid on a bed and me and Padmé stood next to him. "(Y/N)?" He tried to take my hand. "I'm here Ani..."

"I want to ask you something." I felt a bit nervous but Padmé had this smile on her face. I nodded. "(Y/N), I love you, a lot. Since the day I met you, you gave me this feeling. I never want to lose you, I want to protect you, I want to love you. (Y/N) (Y/L/N), will you marry me?"

I couldn't believe it, I was so surprised but also so happy. "Oh, yes! yes! Of course, I love you too." I cried out of happiness but I want to get Padmé involved. "Padmé, can we do it at that house in Naboo? And can you be our bridesmaid? If you want."

She walked to me and gave me a hug. "Of course, that is what friends are for."

"Aahh you look the two of you my beautiful fiancé and my best friend are get along well with each other." He tried to clap but he forgets he had only one arm.

Anakin got a new mechanic arm and we were sent to Naboo to escort the senator. Luckily otherwise I didn't how we able to do it.

We couldn't wait. Padmé helped me by picking a dress. "I have this perfect dress for you." She brought me a white long dress and the details were optimal. The matching veil had white pearls on it. The dress was perfect. "This... this is amazing!"

"Come on try it on." So that's what I did. It took a while but I got it.

I stepped out and showed it. "This dress is made for you. You remember that beautiful blue dress?" Yes, I still remembered. "Well, you are even more beautiful."

"Thank you, Padmé. This means a lot to me."

"It is the least I can do. I just want that this wedding is going to be the most important moment in your life. And the two of you are meant to be together."

I gave her a hug. I never really had a friend and she truly is my friend. "Come (Y/N), it is time." She took my hand and we walked together to the love of my life. Some of Padmé's maid escorted me outside. And there he was, the young handsome man he is, his face was full of pride. Mine was too, I'm so blessed to call him after this my husband.

Padmé, C-3PO, and R2 stood at our side. I heard R2 beeping. "Thank you, R2."

After we shared our vows we took each other's hand and look into the eyes of each other. "You may now kiss the bride."

It went from an innocent kiss to a passionate kiss. I will feel those lips more often. I felt lucky, all of what happened and what is coming will be worth it. I would do anything to protect him and to keep us safe. He would do the same. Two Jedi's sharing love, what could possibly go wrong?

The next day we were having breakfast "I'm glad we do this."

"I couldn't agree more, my love but you know we have to go back?" I know what we have to do and I knew that I couldn't see him every day.

"I know Ani. But Master Windu is taking me soon on a mission, I won't see you for a while I think." I was scared that he would be angry for leaving him that soon. But he already knew. He heard talking to him about it. 

"Shall we walk for a little bit?" Trying to not make an awkward silence. 

We walked around the house then we walked on a sort of balcony. It has a magnificent view, I love a good sunset. I grab his hand. "This view is just as beautiful as you are." he gave me goosebumps, I felt a little kid again. "Every time I have a mission, you are the first person that I go to. I promise that, Anakin."

He grabbed my face and kissed me. He put his arms tight around me. I never want to leave his arms ever again, it made me feel safe. 

We went to a bench and just sat there enjoying each other presence, the force connecting us. that changed when I felt a bad headache. "(Y/N)? Are you oké? 

But the pain was too much. I also heard a voice, it sounded familiar. "Where are you?" The voice said. I saw a face.

When the headache was gone I looked around making sure that she wasn't here.

"(Y/N), What happened?"

I was out of breath, I was scared. I need to tell my Master and Master Kenobi about this. 

"It was my sister."
