Aradhaka's P.O.V

The ink demon scurried along my forearm while I heaved myself with the thick root of the dying tree. My hand reaches the edge of the cliff and I pull myself onto the mountain. The dead grass tickled my neck as I relaxed on my back. Clouds escaped my mouth as I panted in the glacial air of the underworld "What am I suppose to do?" I'm stuck in the underworld because of the stupid demon. I pull my hood over my eyes and my guide nuzzled into the crook of my neck "Am I going to die here?" I sob into my sooty hands. The demon licked my cheeks, wiping away my tears. I shake my hood from eyes and prop myself beside the wither tree "Is this you end too?". My hand rested on the trunk hearing a ticking sound "What is this?" my eyes widen at the blood on my palm. I scream in the abyss. Two decaying bodies hanging from the tallest branch by their entrails. My body trembles violently and I crawl away from the tree. Tears trickle down my face as the images of corpses fill my mind. Through my blurry panic, I see the crown painted in blood on their foreheads "How can angels be such savages?". I pathetically detangle the bodies. Thump!  The bodies fall on to the grass. I dug their graves into the sooty earth.

I stand above the empty tombs. My hands felt impure. My being felt tainted from the wretched goddess. I streak a tilaka on the caked blood on both the man and woman's foreheads. I gently place them in the earth I shovel the dirt over them. I clap my hands clean from the dirt.

"Requiem aeternam, dona eis, Domine,et lux perpetua luceat eis. Sit animabus omnium fidelium defunctorumper misericordiam Dei requiescant in pace.

Amen."

The earth below my feet began to tremble viciously a bottle of turmeric scatters against the soft ground. The stygian underworld engulfs with a blazing light. I grasp my eyes. My knees hit the ground. The ticking becomes deafening. The demon secures itself to my right wrist squeaked muted. The world becomes a verdant hillside. Pastels strokes detail the sky with fast-moving clouds. The smell of grass filled my nostrils. My skin was pure. Clean and not scarred. A figure looms over me "You know how Zlata isn't affected by Hel?". My voice is trapped in my throat. Jophiel's lips were set in a grim line his golden wings sparkle "How is this possible this is the underworld?" he snorts fixing his sleek chestnut hair "Hel's powers have no affected on high ranks," I nodded "How did you know I was here?" his nose wrinkles roughly seizing my wrist with Moe on it "Child, why did you summon that blasted snake demon?" he flicks the beast off me. He pinches my chin between his fingers his hazels met my sienna ones. I sighed "Angels shouldn't be able to enter the underworld," he sneers "You do realize she's not an angel," I nodded "She's a goddess," Jophiel smirks letting go of my chin "Precisely, she's monster just like her father," I bit my lip "I'm talking about you, Jophiel you're an angel this is Helheim,".

He chuckles "There is no balance anymore not without our father," I stand up "Then, why are you lambasting me for summoning a demon?" he raises a brow "The reason why you summon them is what I'm censuring," I tensed "What do mean by that?" he scoffs "Love is selfish," I grasp his maize bowtie "Is your love of god selfish then?" he rolls his eyes "You haven't perception spell with Zlata, because you're afraid of her falling in love with Hel,". I ball my other hand into a tight fist "Shut up!" Jophiel pats my nose "Don't worry you're pretty little face about love and Hel the same sentence," I raise a brow "Why do you say that?" he yanks his bow from me "Child is it not obvious, why would someone love the goddess of death?" my eye widens and I shove him "You're not saying that Hel is-" he clicks his tongue "Yeah, Hel has fallen for her,".

Moe hid in my hood away from the archangel. We sat under the tree in the shade. The illusion has glittered with gold at the corners of my eyes "You plan on forging an army out of angels," the man in the lemon suit nodded "Yes, and I need you to help me," I sighed my back lean against the ticking trunk of the tree "Fine,".

Y/N's P.O.V

My left E/C flutter open. My right eye was bruised and throbbing. Welts adorn my ribcage and my thighs. I squirmed hovering above the floor my shoulder was protruded out of place in a grotesque angle. Blisters trim my form covering my legs with pink flesh. My eye shoots towards the blurry figure in a suit "Good morning ready to play some more," the voice cooed that made my arm hairs prickle. Argentino giggled as my knees touched the furry bricks a high pitch whimper escaped my throat "Scared?". His icy hands soothed my heated skin. My single eye batted at him like he was a fool "Don't flatter yourself," I spat on his cheek. He bit his lip twitching his neck. A psychotic grin creased his dimpled face while he wipes the saliva from his cheek. My back press the moss searing pain from my shoulders made me scream. The cold blade tickled my throat. Argentino's knee restraint his ragged breathes as it jammed into my chest "Watch yourself bait dog!" I smirked up at him "I've been through worse pain,".

My skull is slammed against the hard stone. His scowl shone his built-up rage. The dagger plunged into my chest and I cry out in pain. He repetitively shoved the knife into the hilt. Scarlet splashed his grin. The knife sawed through the flesh of my arms. The hot liquid gaggled in my throat the coppery taste in my mouth. My blood pooled around us as I screamed my throat raw. The familiar pulse assaulted my ears as power flowed through my veins. My eye shut at him cackling over my dying body.

Ba-bump! Ba-bump! Ba-bump! Ba-bump! I feel my body grow stiff at the revolting smell of my blood. I laid limp on the ground as his laughter faded he began shaking me "Y/N, Y/N wake up!" my skin is coated in an uncomfortable sweat. My breathing stops. He runs off screaming soaked in red.

The world around me flashes. I appear in a swampy area the murky water up to my knees. My skin unblemished having a golden glow."Is this heaven?" my voice echoes my eyes dart to a ripple in the swamp. I trek through the water "What is that?" I finally reach the spot where I saw the ripple. A human head rises from the swamp and I screech falling on my butt. I splash the head from me. The head rolls its eyes. A sliver beard and radiating amber eyes "You're the chosen one," a frog croaking perches on the crown if my head. I lift the frog and pet it's slippery green skin "Chosen to do what?" the man chuckles "It's your time to decide to live you're to die,".
