Thanks to you,
half of the school's population
knows about you having a crush on me.

At some point, I was starting to feel a bit
uncomfortable.

You're Jeon Jungkook, you're good-looking,
smart, chivalrous —
an ideal guy as most women would describe.

Of course, women were swooning over you,
as cliché as it sounds, that is.
However, that's the truth.

I have three girlfriends —
namely Chaeyoung, Jennie unnie, and Jisoo unnie.

These days, they've been overprotective of me.
Why? They were trying to make me avoid you.

As mentioned earlier,
girls were swooning over you.
And every time you talk to me,
I'm not stupid to not see their jealous eyes.

It's scary.

Somehow, you found the perfect time
to swipe me away from the girls.

"What the hell, Jeon Jungkook!"
I raged, trying to calm my heart.

You lowly chuckled.
However, upon seeing me,
your smile began to fade.

"You're avoiding me," you directly said.

"I am," I straightforwardly responded.

"Why?" you asked.

Silence enveloped us,
piercing gazes onto each other.

Mine was rather dominant; determined,
and yours were soft; persuasive.

Still, we were silent,
not until I decided to speak up.

"I'm beginning to feel uncomfortable," I said.

I saw how you took a step back,
brows lifting up. "Of me?" you asked.

"Of them," I sighed.
"C'mon, you're loved by many.
And I, I have an image to keep."

"So you're worried about
what they'll say about you,
seeing us together?"
You arched an eyebrow,
as if I was being unreasonable.

I hated that look.

It made me feel stupid.

"I wouldn't risk receiving hate
now that I've gone this far
for my academics, Jungkook,
I hope you understand that."

You sarcastically smiled at me.
"Those fucking numbers? If you apply for a job,
they won't ask you what your grades were
at the age of seventeen for freaking Trigonometry," he muttered.

"You don't understand," I firmly told him.

"Just tell me if you don't like the idea of us being together, Lalisa.
I would understand that, at least." You sighed.

"With all these rumours flying around,
I'm afraid that my parents would throw a tantrum
hearing that their beloved daughter
already has a boyfriend——"

You scoffed at me. Rude.

A walking red-flag. That's what he is.

"Lisa, I like you," you told me once again.
"And the more you ignore me, the more I . . . I miss you.
And I think I'm beginning to like you even more——"

"Don't you dare cross the boundary,"
I took a step away from you,
my eyes fiery but the same time, scared.

"Boundary? Was there even a boundary
to start off with, Lali——?"

"You made that boundary," I told you.
"You were the one who told me
that it was just a harmless crush,
and it won't escalate to anything more than that."

"I can't control it, you know?"
You spat out, feeling frustrated yourself.
"I thought that it was just a harmless crush.
I thought that I like you because you're just interesting.
Turns out, I thought wrong."

"Stop! D–don't do that!"
Tears were forming in my eyes.

Still, you continued to talk.
"I like you, so much. I believe that this
isn't a harmless crush, anymore."

"I said stop!" I huffed a heavy breath.

You looked surprised,
and at the same time, worried.

"I let you enter my life because I trusted you.
I trusted you that you wouldn't cross the boundary."

"Why are you even thinking
about the boundaries?"

"I've already built a wall
and I'm not letting you break it."

"Break it?"

"Just——stay away from me!"

You called my name, over and over again.
I knew that you were running after me.

However, all of the sudden,
"Stop, I'll take it from here."
His voice soothed me.
Bambam, my best friend.

Bambam hugged me tight,
and led me away from you.

I'm sorry, Jungkook.

I've let Sehun in, and he broke my wall.
I'm not risking letting you in, too,
just to wait for you to break it again.

To break me again.
