A/N: Okay... I don't want to be that person but my story is stated as "mature" and from beyond this point, it's going to get into PG-13 topics. Later it will progress to PG-13 content and maybe even mature as the characters get older. Just a friendly reminder that they are 12 and 13 and I'm not gonna make them do "stuff" at that age but... when they are older... different story. However, there is a moment in this episode that... yeah... okay ANYWAY! Just a note <3

The school year flew by quickly and summer had finally rolled around. Malcolm, Reese, and I spent almost every minute of it together and when I wasn't with them or their family, I was with my band rehearsing new songs.

Summer, however, was ending and with that came the school year. But before it was over, Lois and Hal had planned a short vacation with their family, excluding Francis, to a Waterpark.
At the moment, the whole Wilkerson family was in the kitchen shaving Hal to prep him for their excursion.

"Oo, smooth as a seal," Hal stated, looking at himself in both of the mirrors Malcolm and Reese held up.

"You know, we haven't had an outing in a long time. It's nice when we can do things together as a family," Lois commented.

Suddenly, Dewey walked into the room and everyone fell silent. Dewey recently got an ear infection and he didn't know that he wasn't going with them. I was. Oops...

"Why can't I go?" Dewey cried laying his head on his mother's lap. His feet were in mine, holding me down, and I wanted to get up but I didn't say anything.

"Dewey, we discussed this. You can't go because of your ear infection," Lois explained rubbing his head to try to comfort him.

"I never get to go," Dewey whimpered, shaking his shoulders as more tears poured out of his eyes.

"Honey, I know it seems like a pattern but maybe you'll think about this next time you want to stick something dirty in your ear," Lois stated but it was clear that none of her words were getting through to him.

Reese walked over from the kitchen. "Hey, Dewey! How's the ear?" Reese mocked as he licked his finger and rubbed it around Dewey's ear.

Lois slapped his hand. "Stop teasing him, Reese! If your father doesn't find a babysitter, nobody's going anywhere."

"My parents said they could do it," I chime in.
"Honey, I could never ask your parents to do that again, especially after what happened the last time," Lois preached. Yeah... it was really bad.

"Are you sure?" I'd made sure. My parents told me to double-check.

"I'm sure, plus this should be like their vacation since we're taking you, right? Jordan is with his friend and your younger siblings are visiting your cousins?"

"Yeah."

"Then I wouldn't want to make them watch our little Dewey," Lois explains.

"Okay, my mom just told me to double-check," I confess.

"I know, Honey," Lois admits. I feel like all moms understand each other because they all do the same things. "You should get home and pack your stuff for tomorrow."

"Okay, I will," I say and soon find myself following Malcolm into the boys' room.
Malcolm quickly runs over to his dresser and takes out his nose plug.

"Do you still wear those?" I ask.

"Not unless my mom forces me," he states as he hides them under his mattress.

"Okay, well I guess I'll see you tomorrow," I say starting to climb out of the window.

"M'kay, bye," Malcolm quietly calls out giving me a small wave before running out of his room.
