Procrastination.
A faceless demon that mercilessly paired up with karma so that whatever action you had ignored or pushed to some other due date would somehow bite you straight in the ass.
To you, cleaning the school hallways and watering the plants seemed more inviting than sitting on a wooden chair that felt as if it was made out of broken glasses, and armed with an itchy feather that would ultimately lead to backache.
Not to mention the stuff you had to do to make up for the past week. You'd have to thank Shoko for taking care of your work for you, again.
A week ago you had fallen ill and had to skip taking the first year's classes for seven days straight in a row, and now you were sitting with your left leg wrapped up in a bandage.
Drumming thickly above, the storm continued filling the earth leaving its peculiar scent of rain and wet dirt around your neighborhood. The white blades of the fan spun around and around, mimicking an island breeze.
The rain had left without a hint of foul play, even the puddles seemed to glisten underneath the setting sun. Dark bags hung underneath your eyes. He was supposed to be the first one to come to see you after you had been permitted to leave the hospital, other than your students of course.
Sliding the pads of your fingers up your swollen bandaged cheek you peeked out of the glass window and noticed the rain had abruptly stopped falling.
The opening of the door brought your attention to the person who had come to give you company. You didn't need to look at the person who had entered your territory. He was the only one who barged in your room, whenever he wanted to even after you had begged him to stop invading your privacy. Nevertheless, you still loved your stupidly strong friend.
"Is Yuji fine?" You knew this wasn't the best thing to ask him, who's also supposedly the strongest and busiest, when he had extracted some free time and had come to see you.
"Yup! He is fine now."
"And others? Are they back?"
"Yes. And the fact that you've been awake for three days straight is damn near suicidal, I should have checked up on you right after you got back. How have you gone that long without Yuji or Megumi noticing? And Nobara, isn't she always up to your ass?"
Witnessing your eye-rolling gesture, he smirked and took his blindfold off, resting it on his lap after taking a seat, torturing you by showing his indescribable beautiful ocean blue eyes. You watched curiously as his hues scanned the room.
Gojo's eyes landed on a square box, placed neatly on the wooden table situated on the left side of your room along with other cards, covered with a pink wrapper and polka dots.
