Next day morning Petros and Sirsi helped pack bobby's bag, he was hurt deep within but did not show it. His face always had a warm charm and it died when he saw Sirsi coming out of Rudran's room yesterday night. He still never said anything to her or asked about her late night visit. He loved her in every way but she never did was the thought that brought a gut pain in his stomach.
After a quick breakfast, he asked the hotel reception for a taxi to airport. Meanwhile, he went to meet Rudran he had not joined them for breakfast as well.
He buzzed the doorbell for the third time and there was no answer. He stood there for a while and returned downstairs.
Petros couldn't say bye to Bob, he had been a brother he never had.
The taxi was already waiting for Bob, but he wasn't ready to let go of Petros. He did not realize the bond he made with this geek guy. After a long pause, "I need you to come over when this mess is clean" said Bob. Petros patted on his back and they made their way to the taxi.
He couldn't face Sirsi, though she did not hurt or cheat him the fact that she never considered him to be with him, was unbearable. He waved goodbye as he went.
Sirsi was surprised at the way Bobby acted today, he completely ignored her existence. He could walk up to Rudran to say a goodbye but not a single word he spoke to me!
I care for him more than anyone, his parents call me to ensure that Bob is safe. She liked him in an adorable way but never imagined a life with him. This wasn't her fault either but, she missed him thoroughly. After all, he helped her so much in this journey that sometimes she felt Bob had a better understanding over things that happened but, after Rudran stepped in.... Yes Rudran... she now sat in her room thinking of him.
He spoke few words and those were running around her mind like those bees humming. She never felt this way towards anyone, it was new kinda feeling.. she blushed so very often at hearing his name that even Petros felt there was something happening in between them. But, Rudran hasn't stepped outside the room since yesterday.
She asked Petros to check on him, but Petros did not really bother about Rudran. He called him few times and that was it. She waited for him to show up but he didn't, so she asked Petros to go with her to checkout the library. They waited untill it was dark, as it is a prohibited area they were extremely careful. While they stepped out of the hotel and looked around for the beggar, they spotted Rudran jogging towards them. Sirsi suddenly felt a gushing feeling inside her but she tried to remain neutral.
Where you guys headed off to? Asked Rudran.
Petros cared least to respond him, Sirsi looked at him walking away.
She said, we will have to check this library I have a gut feeling about this.
Rudran laughed for a while, I already asked my men to check it but they couldn't find anything about the secret library.
So you knew about it? Asked Sirsi excitedly.
He shrugged, I did a complete check on this before I stepped my foot on this hills and besides your father had already mentioned about this place right??
Sirsi did not quiet get the last thing he spoke... Wait what do you mean?
Huh?
My father said about the library? To whom? She asked.
Suddenly Rudresh remembered what he just said. And he tried to not to say anything further but he had already given away too much.
Seeing Sirsi in tears made him so fragile, he had shut down for the last few days to think Clearly but those teary eyes just tore his heart.
Sirsi.... I did not say ... Sirsi... He called out as she walked away. She sat under a tree and Rudresh followed her.
He stood in front of her like a guilty kid.She asked, what else you guys are hiding from me?? I have already gone through enough because of your people and I have lost all my family in the name of treasure Rudran! I have been held captive by your men like some prisoner. She suddenly turned towards him, have you held my dad also captive??? I swear I will rip you you off Rudran!! She held his shirt....
Rudran held her hand, I swear to Mahadev I know nothing about your dad except that he was part of my dad's treasure hunt group. My dad helped him in many ways and gave men, money and everything to help his treasure hunt series but your dad always kept secrets from us. He would not tell his exact location and had only tipped few important clues to my dad.
Like what asked Sirsi.
Now, Rudran's head went down, he knuckled his sweaty fingers and broke it open. We already knew about the lingam you discovered at the Nataraja statue in Srilanka.
Your dad had found it, later he came to Tiruvannamalai in search of some library, as per his letter he quoted he found it and was about to witness a victory but...
But what??
We did not hear anything after that, my dad sent few people down here and checked on him. People said he went missing few days back. We found the suitcase in his room and gave it to you, but apart from that I don't know anything neither does my dad.
But, he had a clear mind just like you, your dad was a good person I must say...
She sobbed continuously, I thought I knew him well but no I don't know anything about him. He left us for this piece of shit she cursed..
No Sirsi, he found solace in this madness, unlike my dad he did not lose his mind. He found a beauty in this chaos Sirsi. Am pretty sure, he is well.
Sirsi never cried before anyone, but she couldn't handle it anymore. Deprived of sleep, roaming like a maniac in this hill
looking for clues and letting go of all the people she loved wasn't easy.
Come Sirsi let's go to the hotel it's not safe here.
Safe?? She asked. I have been held captive by yourself Rudran I don't really know what you mean.
Rudran was losing his temper at her attitude. Fine then be a good prisoner and walk ahead he snapped.
She looked at his eyes.. really?? She asked in a low voice.
Her eyes were red, lips were shivering trying to get hold of words.
Sirsi please come he pulled her hand and started walking ahead.
They sat in the hotel and ordered for tea and Rudran was still sweating and jogging shirt was drenched. I'll refresh and come back, stay here I won't take more than ten minutes.
But, Sirsi did not pay attention to his words.
She wondered why the hell has she been put through this shit, I held nothing in my hand, even a dog I petted left me. I craved for nothing but love! My father's love... She imagined what he would have done here in this hills .. did he miss me???
Tears were rolling down..
When she turned to pick tissues from the other table, she noticed the beggar looking at her but with a smile.
She immediately got up and went to see him outside, as she opened the hotel door she saw him walking away and in the dark it was getting very difficult to notice him. But, she wasn't letting this go easily. He knows something that I should be made aware of.
She was running to catch up to the beggar, he again went running behind the mountain. It's the same route he took the other day.
But, once she went passed by the prohibited area she looked around and it was pitch dark. She couldn't spot him anywhere but she anyway knew where he would have ran to.. his home!
She walked in the pitch dark ground, the mobile torch was only showing the next step she took and nothing beyond. Sirsi wasn't really sure about going forward because she was scared of the darkness. She would cling on to her dad's arms when she got scared.
The ground was plain covered with dried grass and nothing more than that.
The more she walked towards the mountain, she felt drawn towards it. The fear reduced and she was feeling the warm breeze comfortingly her. It was a full moon day and people were doing girivalam even at midnight, but she was far inside the mountain for anybody to notice.
It was like as though the moon was showing her the way, she walked in that direction. As she thought, the beggar was sitting outside the house and eating some food.
She called him out!! He saw Sirsi and immediately got scared, he never expected her to follow here. He suddenly threw the food and started running away.
She tried to stop him but, he was uncontrollable. After chasing him for a while, she gave up and returned to the building.
It is a very old building made of rock and stones, the beggar would have found this and made this a home, she found his cloths and some food packets on the ground.
This isn't library she thought.
As she moved the torch towards the right side, she saw shelves made of wood and some old books were lying in poor condition.
These were written ages back, she tried to open a book and read but the letters have been washed away and hardly anything was visible in the moonlight.
It was just a room with few books!! What a hype for this place she sighed!! As she turned to leave, she slipped over a pile of garbage dropping the phone.
She immediately woke up and took the phone, the friction while dropping had switched off the torch and she was starting to sweat and shiver.
No no not switched off!!! I can't breath here... She was feeling claustrophobicHer hands were trembling as the phone rebooted and she clicked on the torch, the light from the phone hit straight to the ceiling..
She saw as though the walls were collapsing and fainted right there.
_______&&&________Someone was literally banging on Rudran's door, he woke up and opened the door with such an anger that he would punch whoever that ass was!!
It was Petros.. but he looked so worried that he would cry any moment.
Sirsi is missing.. I searched for her everywhere and her phone is switched off! That never happens Rudra.. besides the hotel owner said he noticed her with the beggar yesterday.
I actually asked her to wait while I went to refresh, when I came later to look she wasn't there and I assumed that she went to her room.. may be needed some time off or something like that!!
Oh god! This isn't looking good Rudran thought.I need your laptop asked Petros, he asked him to come inside the suite.
Here.. he handed over.
Petros was a geek at this! If she had the phone then will get her..
Rudran was nodding his head.
He used find my app and logged in.
Next, he inputted Sirsi's phone number and waited for the application to locate her.
Rudran was looking at the screen so closely, this WiFi it's worth nothing I will talk to the owner..
No! wait Rudran this application does take some time to locate.
Have you used this before??
Yeah, to keep a tab on Sirsi .. she is really important for me..
For me as well thought Rudran.Come on baby.... Petros sat there in the corner of the chair with his hands clasped.. breathing so heavily...
The red circles were narrowing the location.. and getting smaller and smaller...
The application located the phone in the same place they were sitting..
Suddenly they heard a door bell ring!!
