~Ahana~

I could feel Rhee's gaze on me, drilling a hole in my head but at that time I cared less. My attention was focused on mamma. I was noticing that she was not eating her food which was probably not good for her health as she was a diabetic patient. She was pretending to be engaged in conversation with Nalini aunty. The reason was my presence there. So I decided to go away.

"I am done. Please you guys carry on. I will wait outside. Excuse me." I said politely while getting up from the chair. I knew Dev uncle or Nikhil would try to stop me. Therefore, before they could stop me, I went out of the room.

I went to the guestroom. I was feeling overwhelmed with the whole situation. I didn't know exactly what to feel. On one hand, I was really very annoyed with him for how he behaved with me in the room.I couldn't believe my ears when he had practically questioned my character. My heart clenched at his words. He didn't even apologise for his mistake. I had never expected him to change to this extent.

While on the other hand, I was happy for him. Finally, he let go of his past and was trying to get back with his family. When we came here, I thought he would be sulking around all the time and stretch the things afar but as I thought earlier, he had swore to shock me everytime. This time I was little bit surprised. Well, this was the first surprise of him which didn't hurt me unlike previous ones. Bad joke!

My phone vibrated notifying a message from Swati. I replied her instantly.

Swati : Hi!

Ahana : Hi! Whats up?

Swati : Awesome. I'm very happy and excited.

Ahana : Oh, that means you got your surprise!

Swati : Wait. How do you know about the surprise?

Ahana : Well, if my best friend's boyfriend will come to me and ask about her dream place to visit then I think I am supposed to know about the surprise.

Swati : You mean to say Prashant called you and planned all trip.

Ahana : Yup.

Swati : Now it makes sense. I was thinking continuously that how did he get to know London is my dream place to visit.

Ahana : And you are not staying in a hotel. You will stay at my penthouse there during whole trip.

Swati : You don't have to do this.

Ahana : Shut up! You are staying there and that's final. No arguments.

Swati : As you say Miss Ahana.😛

Ahana : Are you imitating him? 🤨

Swati : Why? Does he only have the right to call you that?😘

Ahana : Seriously, Swati? I never knew Prashant will change you in a very short period of time. *Rolling my eyes*

Swati : I never knew that myself too. Tell me about you. How's going?

Ahana : Same as usual except Rhee's patch up with his family.

Swati : That's good. Atleast he made some progress. Don't worry soon you will also be with your family.

Ahana : Hope so. Fingers crossed.🤞

Swati : Hmm.

Ahana : I have to go. Nikhil is here. Talk to you later. Bye.

Swati : Bye.

"Why do you come here?" Nikhil asked entering in the room.

"You yourself know the answer." I sighed.
