~Rheyan~
Life, sometimes, plays such twisted games with you that you don't know what to do to get yourself out of the mess created by it. One such game it had played with me nine years ago by introducing me to Aisha.
Six years
It had been more than six years of her death but my life was still stucked there, in past. Time flew by its own speed but I was frozen there, in past. Questions were here with me but its answers were there, in past. I, the Rheyan Kapoor was here but my happiness was there, in past.
Every fucking thing was there, in past and it was ruined by the girl I loved, the girl who was there with me when I was alone, the girl who made me feel contented when I was sad, the girl who promised me that she would never leave me, the girl whose name was Aisha.
Then there was a girl whom I called friend, who was not my best friend or buddy or whatever term is used for the closest friends but was my secretive friend, Ahana. She broke our treaty when I needed her the most. Still I gave her time because she had lost her little sister at a small age but how much time she wanted? Now I thought she had forgotten everything, our treaty, our friendship and also me.
"Sir?" Someone called me.
I looked up to the source of voice and a pair of hazel eyes appeared in front of me which would calm and infuriate me at the same time.
Why?
Because they resemble with the pair of someone who had the ability to calm down the thunderstorm inside me whenever I found myself drowning in it but truth to be told, now that person didn't want to contact me anymore which infuriated me to the core. And on the top of that her name was even same her.
Ahana
"Sir?" She called again.
Three weeks. It had been three weeks since she had started her internship. Within these three weeks many things had happened, number one- she burnt my hand with hot coffee and I broke her leg.
Funny, isn't it?
Definitely not!
My subconscious scowled at me.
Number two- she tricked me to go to the family dinner only to keep that stupid promise of hers and I called her a whore. Number three- Vivaan molested her in the lobby of top floor and I stood there to see her fight for her dignity, for her respect. Number four-she beat Vivaan for me and I comforted her when she broke down. Number five- after the incident she acted all like nothing had happened and I hated her for being so nonchalant.
Why?
Because she made me a complete emotional mess. She didn't know that how her mere action had shaken me from deep inside.
"Sir!!!!" She called loudly.
Number six- she forced me to go and meet mom and I didn't utter a word, simply glared but obeyed at the end.
From day one I made sure to irritate her, to infuriate her,to burden her with my nasty and rude comments, actions and work so that she would leave company by herself, so that I didn't have to look her more, so that I could prove her wrong that she was not the big, great person with a huge heart who had courtesy to keep her words, her promises as she put the show.
Why?
Because she was like everyone else- fake.
Liar!
