It was four in the morning when Ahana stirred in her sleep. The morning breeze coming through open windows blew her soft tendrils which were hiding her enchanting face from the world, slowly pulling her out of the deep slumber of sleep.

Stretching her limbs with a yawn escaping her mouth, she opened her mesmerizing hazel eyes and immediately pain shoot through the left side of her neck when she moved. Providing it support of her left hand she straightened herself up but again winced in the process. She glanced around her surroundings and realized that she had slept on the floor, in a sitting position leaning her back against the bed.

Standing up from her place she walked over to the window and took in the view of nature. The sky was still dark but the chirping of birds could be heard. Different plants and trees in their garden were billowing in the breeze and soon it would dawn upon the whole world. The environment was calming.

Taking in the calm and peace of nature she stretched her neck left to right a few times then whirled it around in slow motion and her neck muscles were back to normal.

She turned around from the window and saw the mess she had created in her room. All the events from last night rushed into her mind but she didn't let gloominess surround her. There was a new spirit, newly found courage and determination to do something for her friend, her partner who had suffered a lot in past years and now it was time for him to step out of his gloomy, depressing past to a new world of joy and happiness.

This time she would be there for him, with him, beside him, ahead of him and at the back of him to support him in every possible way.
She thought.

Moving forward, first, she arranged her bed, then picked up cushions from the floor and settled them back in their place. Then she collected all the papers which were scattered all over her room due to the fast wind blowing last night. At last, she placed the envelopes of all letters in her bag with utmost care not before caressing them with her hand.

She took her phone out of the bag and checked if there were any important calls or messages for her. Finding none, she put it on charging after glancing at the time and date.

4:20 A.M.

She smiled. Finally, she managed to wake up early in the morning.
She would tell Nikhil about her achievement and a little bit of bragging would not harm her.
She thought playfully.

She was walking toward the washroom with the outfit in her hand to get ready for the day when all of a sudden she froze in her tracks.

March 25, 2020, today's date.

She remembered and the mere realization made her all gathered courage seep out of her.

Rheyan came back to the mansion after jogging as per his daily routine but today's difference was that he was not alone. Dev had also joined him and he was ecstatic as he got to spend more time with Rheyan as father and son.

Rheyan was a bit surprised on seeing his father wide awake in the early morning wanting to accompany him for a jog. He wasn't very happy with the idea as he wanted to spend some time alone but said nothing. He knew that his father had been trying to mend their relationship and that would be possible only if he would cooperate too but that's a difficult task to do.

It was half-past six when they had returned. Dev had scurried to his room to get ready for the puja which was held at Ahuja mansion for Aarushi. He didn't want to be late on this very day when he knew his best friend needed him the most.
