A Night Of Events

"A-Are you sure I can wear this..?" Swift stuttered, Lulu gave her a dismissive wave of her flipper as she adjusted a ribbon in the middle of Swift's dress, Lulu was moving professionally, and it was mostly due to her years of fixing up the royalty in the castle. And partly because she was a professional at outfits. "I-I mean.. I-"

"Don't make too much of a fuss, now!" Lulu said cheerfully, moving towards a small cabinet, she opened a drawer and took out what seemed to be a small bottle of decorative glitters. Lulu narrowed her eye in concentration, "Hold still, would you?" She asked, Swift closed her eyes as she felt Lulu spray some glitter on her dress. "You can open your eyes now." Lulu smiled, Swift slowly opened her eyes and stared at herself in the mirror. She wore a light blue dress that almost reached the floor, underneath her chin was an ocean blue ribbon decorated with small gems and some of the glitter, her dress had blue butterfly patterns with the occasional gems and glitters, she had a small bracelet with a butterfly and lastly, Swift wore a blue ribbon on her right ear.

"Swift! You look gorgeous!" Izzy squealed, Feather nodded in agreement, smiling enthusiastically. Izzy wore a very light green dress, decorated with green hearts, she had a green heart necklace around her neck, on her tail she wore an accessory that had a few dangling hearts at the end which danced around as she moved, and she wore a green flower crown. Feather wore a similar dress but instead of hearts she had a dress patterned with gray clouds, and she wore a gray flower on her left ear. "This night's gonna be awesome!" Laika walks up to them, wearing a pink dress decorated with green star patterns, wearing two star accessories around her ears, and a necklace with a pink star.

"You four go outside with the boys now, the party will start in a while. You don't want to be late!" Lulu said, fixing up the closet and the small cabinet she used, she simply pushed it down and all the drawers that were extended by something satisfyingly went down, and it all just looked like a suitcase now. "Now go! Have fun!" Lulu smiled, opened the doors for them and slid down to the left side of the hallway, disappearing. The boys were outside, wearing fancy tuxedos, top hats and bow ties. Izzy immediately reunited with Hunter and hugged him tightly, catching him off guard, Feather flew around excitedly, Laika just stood in place and looked toward the direction the remaining animals in the hallway were walking toward, and Swift was approached by Jake.

"You girls look amazing." Jake smiled, Swift blushed, rubbing her left foreleg shyly. "Should we all go now?" He asked the others.

"Yeah! Let's go!" Feather and Izzy said in unison, Feather flew ahead in excitement, while Izzy ran to catch up with her, dragging Hunter along in the process. Jake shook his head and walked side by side with Swift and the others. Everyone knew this was gonna be a welcoming party, but the truth is they didn't really expect anything else to happen.

...

They arrived at the ballroom, and it was bigger than the throne room, classical music was playing in the background, and surprisingly it was coming from a group of musicians, one playing piano, the others playing violins, a cello, harp and other instruments. The ballroom was decorated beautifully, there was a large chandelier in the center of the ceiling which provided enough light, the windows on the sides were also decorated along with the curtains, there were at least three long, large tables filled with food and drinks, basically three whole banquets of food, there was a medium sized stage with a microphone on a stand in the front of the sets of tables, and lastly the tables were covered in a white sheet and the chairs looked expensive yet quite simple.

"Pardon me?" A voice asked them, interrupting their admiration of the room, a Clydesdale horse who looked like a waited, held a clipboard and wore a tuxedo with a monocle, he looked at them then the clipboard. "You all have a reserved table as told by the royal family. Come with me." He said gently, walking towards one of the empty tables at the front, the group looked at each other slowly, in awe and surprise. They followed the horse shortly after and when they were there, they took their respective seats, and realized that they had a great view of the stage and was fairly close to one of the tables. "Would you like anything else?" The horse asked.
