Behind the Mask

Strong features on the surface
Emotionless eyes and cold face
Cheeks with no tears traced
Mouth with no sign of grimace

A girl who looks so strong
A life that looks like nothing's wrong
Words with no hint of confusion
Maybe she put herself in a world of isolation

Everyone thought she's perfectly fine
Ang throw at her such painful line
They ignored each clues and sign
A sign of surrender every night at nine

She was just acting cold
But her hand wants someone to hold
To lean on to someone  before her knees fold
To have someone  before her coffin's mold

She doesn't want to have a friend
Because her life will have an early end
She doesn't want to plead and bend
Cause life will eventually just end

Afraid to gain something fleetingly
And learn to love them eventually
She doesn't want to give anyone happiness temporarily
And leave them with so much agony

Its better to be all along
Than experience that will end so soon
To feel contentment and peace
But with pain and torment will lace

But she's happy that she met you
Even for a short time she felt love
She's so sorry she left you
But now she's free as dove

She said don't forget to look up
And remember that

You'll always be the best disastrous break up she will ever have..
