Everything

The very first time I open my eyes,
I know you were there,
The moment of my very first cry,
I am certain you were there.

With those tiny steps I made,
Soft mattress and pillows you worriedly laid,
Just so I wouldn't be hurt,
You are my saviour, a superhero in any sort.

In my lowest and ugliest state,
I was deep in your embrace somehow feeling safe,
With heartbreaks I cry myself to sleep,
But I was never alone when I weep.

Tissues are ready as well as your smiles,
Prepared for the answers of all my whys,
Encourages me with all your nags,
Words that make my heart inside tug.

Never fails to make me laugh,
Even in my days that are rough,
When I'm at the painful abyss,
Always present never leaves.

With all of that I'm always grateful,
For having you I'm so thankful,
Never gonna trade you for anything,
Because my mother, you are my Everything.
