I'm Sorry

I was once a lost soul,
Wandering around like a fool,
Looking for someone to be here when I call,
To want to save me even in a small ball.

Not a prince charming with a crown,
But a man that will save me when I drown,
To put a smile when I frown,
To look for me when I get lost in a small town.

All I want is a simple love story,
With a man who won't say he's sorry,
To hold me closely when I worry,
And a love that's deep like the sea.

Until I met you in an unexpected way,
You smiled at me and it made my day,
We become friends and talk everyday,
You made smile and wipe my tears away.

I believed that it's you that I wished,
The answer to the questions I prayed,
The man in my diary that I said,
A man who understand and tuck me to bed.

I told you I love you one night,
Then you replied vaguely it wipe away my delight,
You told me you liked me too at first sight,
But you can't see me in the same light.

I'm sorry but this is all I can give,
I was happy with our time together,
But now I got to leave,
Because I do not want to pretend forever.

The woman I love is waiting for me,
All I can wish is for you to be happy,
Even if you are not with me.

I'm Sorry.
