The butterflies dances with the leaves,
The air whistling like a free breeze,
The cloud clear as the oceans,
Feeling as plain and peaceful as the sand.

Looking at the clear blue sky,
Without regret, closing my eyes with a smile,
My hair is dancing at the tune of the waves,
Thanking the sea because I was saved.

Memories keep flashing my eyelids,
All the feelings I felt since we were kids,
Its all coming back to me bit by bit,
Its all breaking free there is no use hiding it.

That day when the sky was sad,
And the rain was falling so hard,
As I was playing with myself in the mud,
I saw you there soaking and sad.

I approached you like I know I should,
Smiled at you with all the might I could,
Acted as if nothing hurts by then,
Like everything was perfect, pure and clean.

With the smile we developed a bond with each other,
A friendship that we strengthen together,
Created memories that we could keep forever,
I was freaking happy like never.

The friendship was soon tested,
A tested that we never expected,
Now the fondness was was covered,
Good memories was forgotten because of hatred.

It was pure pain, it was torture,
That I started to fear the future,
I get anxious just by thinking of closure,
Because deep in my mind I'll get hurt for sure.

I acted so cold to hide my weakness,
Like nothings wrong and hide in the darkness,
Looked so rough to protect myself from the monsters,
The monsters my pain planted on my mattress.

But as time passed and I grow older,
I manage to fight my anxiety and get a little stronger,
Now I'm ready to face that monster.

To let go of all the pain in my heart,
Be at peace even if we are apart.

The friendship we once had,
Will be remembered as what it once was.
