8. Im.... Broken... Confused

Mothers health was downgrading more and more causing our father to become sick from stress as well, I was broken from being blackmailed by Aaron but how can I cause a fight now? That is not good for either of my parents, I'm disappointed of the jealousy and hate he has towards me, I thought back of the situation with Nick as he messaged me again apologizing for the harsh message as I assumed Jessy snapped at him and explained what happened, nobody is giving me a chance to breathe or think on it all.

I just want to be happy, it's too much to ask for I suppose as I logged on my Social Media's am posted ....

Once published it was like a load broke off my chest, I had a little smile for once. Closing my eyes I had a knock at my window, Sarah! Opening it and ducking my head out to see what she wanted she asked if we could have a talk. Turning off my phone I set it down, a friend is what I needed in person to discuss my feelings towards. Once we got to the picnic table she smiled at me as her red hair blew in the wind "So as you may know Cory really likes you in fact I think he's even inlove with you honestly but he wants to ask you out even though he knows your going through a lot but don't know how to put it." I smiled from ear to ear beginning to blush having flashbacks from the first time I had him smiling, Trevor knew so that's why he backed off and started acting as a wing man.

"Sarah, honestly with everything that's happened in my life these past weeks if he kissed me I literally wouldn't even mind it at this point, I mean when he hugs me it's like I entered a new world for fucks sake hahaha." She giggled back an nodded at my response, we had a good chat which let a lot of ease from my chest.

Walking up to the convenience store of Cory & Trevors their he was, sitting on a stool ... with his toothpick playing paper football with a piece of paper. "Cory look who I brought out of the house." Sarah said as his eyes widen "You really talked to her holy shit dude.... Katya I..." I cut him off mid sentence "Don't worry about my personal life or any bullshit I'm going through, I'd be seriously happy to go on a date with you dork." He froze in his tracks looking down giving that smile that I "Fell Inlove" with at first.

"Kat don't worry about a thing we will come by tonight at 8 just look cute nothing fancy or beyond casual." Sarah mentioned as we walked out to my trailer. Nodding with excitement this is a new feeling I haven't felt in years, could I of got bored with Nick? I feel like a little school girl over this, the butterflies hit harder.

I walked up to the trailer as my dad stood on the porch seeing as my mood was completely changed to a huge amount of happiness "Oh Kat'o what's got yah grinning ear to ear?" He said as he took a drag of his cigarette. Jokingly I looked at him "Ohhhh Rhett'o... I mean Dad'o if you want the truth I am going out tonight for the first time in a long time." We never fully see eye to eye on things especially when it comes to daddy's girl and a relationship but I could see he didn't mind Cory that much as for Nick who he put on a show as if he liked him but I know my father better then that.  Looking down at the clock it was almost time, I had to get ready so I rushed inside.

What do I wear that's casual but not too casual? Ninety percentage my clothes are hipster styled, finally I found a perfect pair of blue jeans, a dressy blazer to put over a tank top & to wear my what I like to call black combat boots. The look was put together perfectly but I decided to leave my beanie home and curl my hair for a change also not be extremely heavy on my makeup as usual. Spraying a bit of my favorite perfume " Exotic Kiss" by Victoria Secrets all over me it was time.

Knocking at the door there was Sarah all smiles telling I looked perfect! My father looked confused as if she was my date or something "Nice to see you Mr. McLaughlin but we gotta get going her date is waiting!" She pulled me out as we started waking down the park.
