9. Dopely Magical Night

It was nighttime so I couldn't see much but I could see a fire in the distance with lanterns hanging around. Looking over at Sarah I asked "That is for me?" She shook her yes as we finally walked up to the scene, there they was all the guys & then there was Cory looking like an adorable dweeb as ever.

"You didn't take long to see that yeah, we work Cory & Trevor hard but this was the least we could do tomorrow though, they get back to work!" Ricky said to me as he bit off a piece of pepperoni, my mind was wondering from left to right wanting so bad to have a smartelic remark back at him but he did listen and helped just that once so he does have somewhat of a heart.

Cory walked towards me telling me I looked beautiful, he is the shy type for sure most of the time. Grabbing my hand we all by the fire & trust me, I'm cheesey so a bon fire as the sun sets reminded me of back home which I definitely can say I no longer miss. Julian poured everybody drinks even though all he knows is Rum & Cola mixture, I'm sure they'd totally love the Moonshine I use to work for.

The Nova Scotia air got chilly but I didn't mind as we all chatted having an actual moment, it definitely wasn't a "date,date" like most would think but the company was amazing. Feeling a arm wrap around my waist I look over to see Cory happy, the perfect idea is to take photos an upload this night which I had Sarah do for us.

So many messages between my best friends and just concerned people continued to blow up but thank god phones have silencers. We get a radio scan, it was Ray aka Ricky's "Father" stating we had to stop everything we was doing because the Crops was being destroyed by something or someone. Bubbles quickly yelled "What if it's a Samsqunch guys!" I looked at him so confused and started laughing, I didn't feel like myself all of assudon and it wasn't just me being drunk off a single glass of alcohol because I'd do shots day in an day out at my old job.

Julian looked at Cory and I as we set there "You two stay here, Trevor in the car now!" Cory jumped up of course wanting to go and help protect his best friend Ricky pushed him back onto the ground "You're on a date here nimrod you can't be that stupid he'll be fine!" He looked at me an apologized but I quickly said "No go ahead let him go with you guys as well!" The smile on his face said it all as he twirled me around while hugging me "Thanks dude you're awesome!" Before I could even think he kissed my cheek leaving me flushing red as Sarah's hair in the face.

I watched them leave as I set there by the fire alone before walking back home I herd a slashing coming from a glass bottle to turn around and see Mr. Lahey and Randy "What in the hell are y'all doin spying so late?!" I stayed as I starred at Randy's gut. What a sight to see looking like a literal burger about to pop! "The shit hawks my dear, the shit hawks, y-you will see what I'm saying, don't fall to hard in these parks." I literally wish he drank a bottle of mouthwash instead because my eyes burned.

"What Mr.Lahey is stating here McLaughlin is that you can't trust them guys, any of them if we're honest and you got a little to comfortable but you'll see." For once I looked up into Randy's eyes he had a point I quickly got comfortable but how do I know what's true and what's not anymore? "Thanks for the advice but I'm just here for a good time not a long time we don't keep things temporary." I started to walk off leaving curious, I know I'm having fun finally and it's what mom wanted was for me to have friends around here but her health is all I care about.
