T H I R T Y - S E V E N :

"Are you nervous?" Alex asked the blue-haired girl who was sat next to him biting the inside of her cheek. The four were all on the train to Brighton readying themselves for the first night as one of the support acts for STRINGS, the train was approximately three and a half hours from Piccadilly station. In kindness Mattia, Oak's boss had let her have the day off because they needed to be at the venue before five o'clock for a six-thirty door opening.

"I am, yeah, are you?" Oak replied with a smile, she felt nerves radiating off of every inch of her body purely because this was the biggest gig they had ever done and it was for one of the country's biggest bands.

"Kind of but I'm trying not to show it," The floppy-haired man chuckled. The thing that was making him feel the most anxious was the fact that he could mess up, he'd been practising like all of them for the last two weeks, going over and over the riffs and the vocal parts he joined in on but he still felt like he wasn't ready but he was so excited.

"You'll be great," Oak complimented her friend then nudged him lightly. The four were so ecstatic about being given this opportunity and getting to work alongside Oscar and STRINGS, the nerves were somewhat being overpowered by the excitement pounding within every fibre of their body.

They had around half an hour left of the journey before their estimated time of arrival was to be four thirty-three, they'd informed George, the lead singer of STRINGS, he'd told the rest of the band and they were completely fine with that, they told them to arrive at the venue around five so they had spare time. From advice they each packed a small bag of clothes because after Brighton they were more or less going straight to London on the tour bus that the band had kindly offered to share with the other acts, they also packed 'onstage' outfits for both nights.

Joe didn't even feel nervous in the slightest, he was absolutely buzzed to do this, for a small band from Manchester who's followers mainly consisted of people from their town and family and other friends, to be going on a tour with a band as successful as STRINGS was obscure—their families were beyond proud of how much they had achieved and what was to come for them.
