• Kozume Kenma - Kitten •

  "Kenmaaa~?" You peeked your head through your boyfriends' front door. Today was the weekend and also his birthday, so you decided to come visit him. From the looks of it, his parents weren't home, so it would make the surprise even better. You looked around the first floor but couldn't find him, so you thought.

  'What would Kenma be doing on a weekend?'  The answer was obvious; playing video games in his room. You slowly crept up the stairs, eager to see him. When you got to his door, you knocked lightly.

  "Come in." You heard a soft voice call. Usually he would get up and open the door, but he must of been in the middle of a round. You opened Kenma's door to reveal him sitting on the ground in front of his TV. When he turned to look who opened his door, he saw your face and quickly paused his game. You took no time to put his present down and engulf him in a giant hug.

  "Oh, hi (F/N)." Kenma wasn't the biggest person to show his feelings, so he sort of just let his arms hang around you. You didn't mind it though.

  "Happy birthday Kenma! Here, I got you something." You let go of him and walked over to his nightstand to grab his present. It was a light yellow box with a white ribbon tied around it. It looked like any everyday present, except for the fact that it had a bunch of holes poked into the sides and was shifting slightly.

  "(F/N), what kind of gift did you get me that involves poking holes into the box?" His head tilted slightly as you placed the box in his hand. A soft meow was heard from the box, but you tried to cough over it.

  "You'll see." You winked and stuck out your tongue. He turned his attention to the box and began to untie the ribbon and place it to the side.

  You and Kenma stared at each other wide-eyed.

  "(F/N), did you-" Kenma pulled the top off of the box to reveal a small gold and black kitten in the box. As soon as he placed the lid down the kitten jumped out of the box and onto his lap. He placed the box aside and stared at the kitten.

  "What made you think to get me a cat?" He didn't seem annoyed by it, and he started to pat the cat's head.

  "Well I was walking by a pet store so out of boredom I looked in and saw this little guy walking around in a pen and he reminded of you! Y'know like the fur matches your hair. Isn't he the cutest?" You played with the kitten's paws before holding him up in the air in front of Kenma, in which the kitten started to nibble on you finger.

  "He is pretty cute." Kenma started to rub the kitten's belly, but it must have tickled him because he tried to bite and scratch his finger. You placed the kitten down and he began to run around all over the place. When he went after Kenma's controller, he immediately jumped over to stop him so he didn't break it. You giggled at how he was so protective of his games.

  "I brought the food and and stuff in my car so I'll bring it in later." Kenma nodded his head and he tried to pry the cat from his controller. When he managed to get him free, the kitten ran over to you.

  You picked up the cat and held him like a baby. He struggled, but you held him in place.

  "Looks like your a father now, Kenma." You giggled after he blushed slightly and turned his head to the side.

  "Don't say it like that, (F/N)." You crawled over to him, cat in hand, and planted a quick kiss on his cheek.

  "Happy birthday, my kitten."
