• Oikawa Tōru - Falling From The Sky (Soulmate AU) •

  A world where the only girls that were born were when they fell from the sky. Only the girls soulmate could see her fall from the sky, and she would appear to others only if her soulmate caught her. If her soulmate is unable to catch her, she would disappear as soon as she hits the ground, and the boy would not have another chance to get his soulmate back, nor gain a different one. Ones soulmate can appear at any time after the age of 6. In 99/100 cases, the girl would fall in the distance in the direction they are walking, standing, or sitting, but it's extremely rare for them to fall anywhere else, such as in a place that is unreachable. The girls come with a name and full information on their soulmate, but their soulmate doesn't know a thing about them.

  Oikawa Tōru was walking home from school with his friend Iwaizumi and his soulmate, Aika Izuhara. The two were very similar, as they shared the same eye and hair color, and had similar personalities. Iwaizumi had got his soulmate at the age of 11.

  "Man, coach Irihata had us doing way more practice than usual today. Wonder why." Oikawa walked with his bag slung over his shoulder as he scratched the back of his head. He decided to mess with Iwaizumi for a second.

  "Man, if my soulmate doesn't come soon, I just might have to take yours, Iwa-Chan." He knew this wasn't possible, but he just wanted to tick him off.

  "Not a chance, Shittykawa!" Izuhara laughed as Iwaizumi tightened his grip on her. Just as if it was right on cue, Oikawa thought he saw something in the sky from the corner of his eye. He turned his head to see you falling about 200 feet ahead of him. His eyes widened and his mouth formed a huge open smile as he dropped his bag and began to sprint at full speed.

  "Shittykawa, where the hell are you going?!" Iwaizumi picked up Oikawa's bag as him and Izuhara began chasing after him.

  "Do you think it's his soulmate?" Izuhara added, and after realizing that was probably it, Iwaizumi smirked.

  "About damn time, trashykawa."

  Oikawa pushed past everyone, even though some gave him dirty looks, but he didn't care. If he missed this chance, he would have to live the rest of his life without someone to love, and Iwaizumi would make fun of him. He didn't care if everyone was staring, he had to get there. You were falling at a quick speed, and you fell just like a rag doll, letting the air push your arms and legs up towards the sky. Oikawa ran through couples, knowing that this would be him in a matter of days.

  He reached the point where you would end your fall and held his arms out. In a couple of seconds, you fell right into his arms which fit you perfectly. Oikawa knew everyone could see you now. You slowly opened your eyes to reveal the man holding you. He had a huge smile on his face, so you returned it. He gently placed you on the ground right before engulfing you in a huge hug.

  "I've been waiting for so long to meet you. You're so gorgeous, and I know you're going to be the best soulmate anyone has ever met." You wrapped your arms around his waist, as he was much taller than you. You listened to people around you clap and cheering for you and Oikawa. After a straight minute, you both pulled away from the hug so you could introduce yourself.

  "My name is (L/N) (F/N), and it is so nice to meet you, Oikawa Tōru." Iwaizumi and Izuhara caught up to you both. While Iwaizumi was fine and dropped Oikawa's bag next to him Izuhara was hunched over trying to catch her breath.

  "Look at this Iwa-Chan, my soulmate! Now you can't make fun of me anymore." Oikawa used one arm to wrap it around your waist while he used his finger on his other hand to pull the skin under his eye down and stick out his tongue.

  "Yeah well I've had my soulmate six years longer than you so.." Iwaizumi copier Oikawa, and it seemed like he was mocking him, but it was funny to watch.

  "Alright well me and Aika are gonna head home so see you, shittykawa." Iwaizumi turned around and gave an annoyed wave, Izuhara still wrapped in his arm. You looked up at Oikawa who scratched his neck before picking up his bag.

  "I guess we should get going too. I'm so excited to get you enrolled at Seijoh and show you off to everyone." You giggled at how excited he seemed to finally meet his soulmate after 17 years. The whole walk home consisted of him either holding your hand or wrapping his arm around your shoulder or waist. As the both of you entered Oikawa's house, he called his mom over. When she walked over and you were introduced as his soulmate, she was eccentric to meet you. She was extremely kind and welcoming, and immediately took you in as her own. After introducing yourself to her, Oikawa took you up to his room to get you settled in. He dropped his bag down and told you that he was changing, but you could look if you wanted (with a wink of course), but you sat on his bed and closed your eyes anyways. Once he had finished, he was changed into a plain white tee-shirt and sweatpants. He took a seat beside you and took no time to wrap his arms around you again and place his face in your neck. You returned the embrace before he spoke to you.

  "This may be the only time I can say this without it sounding completely misleading, but thank you for falling today."
