You sat there in the corner of the room, your legs clutched to your chest and your head dropped as you shook. Tears poured from your eyes and fell onto your shirt and legs. You were having another anxiety attack. They weren't common, but not rare either. You would get them once every few weeks, sometimes you didn't know why, but no matter what, they were always painful to sit through. If it happened at school, people would either swarm around you asking if you were okay, or would ignore you completely and whisper about you. Both made the attacks even worse. You slowly began to rock back and forth, not hearing the front door open.

"(F/N), I'm home!" Your boyfriend Yamaguchi just returned from practice. He dropped his bag by the front door to grab a bottle of water before looking for you. Usually when you heard him open the door, you would run to greet him, but right now, Yamaguchi was concerned that you weren't here.

"(F/N), where are you?" He walked around the house searching the rooms. He walked into the room you were in, which happened to be his, and saw your scrunched, shaken, and scared body holding itself in the corner of the room. He gasped before running over to you. He didn't know if you would let him touch you or not, knowing your attacks were different every time, so he gently placed his hands on your shoulders and shook you very slightly.

"Hey, (F/N)? Are you okay?! Can you hear me? Please say something!" You didn't react to his touch and kept sobbing. He took this as an opportunity to pull you into his lap. When he did, you gripped his shirt and cried even harder. Not because you were upset with him, but because you were so lucky to have someone special to help deal with your attacks. As you cried, he ran his fingers through your hair and down your back. He didn't try to make you stop crying, but instead let you get your emotions out. He planted soft kisses on your hair and forehead. Because of his touch, you very slowly began to calm down. You tried taking deep breaths and think about other things.

About 10 minutes later, you had stopped crying and shaking and looked up at Yamaguchi. His frown turned into a small smile when he saw that you were better, causing you to smile too. Even though your eyes and cheeks were red and stained with tears, you felt much better than you did a few minutes ago.

"Are you okay now, (F/N)? What happened? Do you want to talk about it?" He continued rubbing your head as he tried to see if you knew what started the attack. You wrapped your arms around his waist and laid your head on his chest.

"I honestly don't know, Tadashi. I got home and just felt like crap. Next thing I knew I was having an attack. It probably started 20 minutes before you got home. Please don't blame yourself though, I'm fine. I'm happier when you're happy, you know? Like I think about if you're having a good practice, and it helps me." You looked up at him and he had a small pained expression on his face. You could tell even though you told him not to worry, he still wished he was home earlier. You suddenly kissed the spots where his freckles were, causing him to blush, but he smiled. You remembered one time when you both fell asleep after a game on the bus ride home and Nishinoya and Tanaka connected all the freckles on his face like connect-the-dots. When you woke up, he was positive it was you, but you found out it was them when they were rolling on the ground in laughter. Yamaguchi seemed embarrassed, but you thought it was adorable.

"Please don't worry about me so much Tadashi. What you did today was more than enough, so thank you." Your face had cleared up as you smiled at him. He gently smiled back and wrapped you in a warm hug, slowly rocking side to side.

I've got freckles on the bridge of my nose and I feel like if the were spread out, they would look really similar to Yamaguchis
