Alone. Indeed I was. It feels this way, but why? I had friends, but even I couldn't decide if they were real. I had that long history of friends leaving me. Why shouldn't they? "I'm worthless." I thought to myself. But was I? I was so indecisive, and that's just one on the list of many things I hated about myself. I felt as if the world and everyone in it hated me. I wish that I could've seen the silver lining at the time. The only thing I could think about was finding the one. The one. The one that made all the bad things go away. The one that hugged me so tight, all of my broken pieces would squish back together. The one who I could trust to put my heart in their hands. I didn't even think there was a one honestly, but there was. Maybe the most unexpected one, too. But that day she came along I knew. I just knew she was the one. The one.
