God is not dead(you dont have to read if you dont want to)

Hi guys. If your reading this your curious enough to look or you wanted to see where I was going. I'm sorry to say that this isn't a chapter about Percy Jackson but about someone just as amazing. God my lord and savior. You see tonight I watched the movie God is Not dead and I feel like I should share the experience. Many people want to say that God isn't real because of the Big Bang or other scientists beliefs. Well I say that he is. Sure it be cool if we could know how we began and developed but the ideas all point to what genesis says about creation. People struggle with faith every day in the smallest of ways to the biggest and many just give up. I'm one of those people that tended to not want to argue or make a person hate me for trying to get 'preachy' but those people that probably would have gotten mad need it the most. People also try to say that if God is so powerful why do we have all this evil and hate all around us. Well the explanation is simple. To test us. God lets the devil try to tempt us and turn away from the path so that only the ones that truly love God and serve him faithfully will make it to the day where Jesus returns and destroys sin and evil forever. The bible says that one day God will wipe away out tears and suffering and being us peace. To those people out there that might be reading this and feel something but don't think he can forgive you or that your not good enough here's something you should know. God made you in his image and likeness so in his eyes you are the most beautiful/handsome creature in the universe. God takes care of you even if you don't see it. He provides for you and loves you unconditionally. He loved you so much that he sent his only son to die in pain on the cross just for you and you alone. For those of you who are probably rolling your eyes know this. Jesus was afraid to die to. He was so scared and nervous he sweated blood. He even asked God if there was another way but God said no. Jesus died by the slow painful death of crucifixion. Also let me tell you the most inspirational thing I have heard on this matter. This is from the movie between a successful son and his ailing mother who has dementia. "'You are the nicest person I know,' said the son,'and I am the meanest. You prayed ever day and never did a thing wrong. Yet your the one with dementia and I'm successful. Tell me why is that.' Then he scoffs at the woman fascinated by the clock as if she could never answer but instead she says in a quiet voice,'sometimes the devil gives people cushy lives and protects them from trouble. Your lid is like a jail cell but it's comfortable so why leave? The doors wide open but you don't use it. And soon the door shuts and your trapped forever.'" Don't let that be you. Don't ignore the open door. God loves you and he wants you to accept his love. If you ever waver in this faith just remember that God's thoughts are highest and so are his actions. He may not give us the answer we want but it's the answer we needed. We don't know his plan and all we can do is follow and have courage. If you keep him first in your heart and lid everything else will fall into place afterwards. God Is Not Dead. Thank you for reading.
