Percy walked the streets of New York stomach growling. Jeez was he hungry. He raised his head a bit and sniffed the air a bit. There, he thought as the scent of a drunken teen hit his nose, dinner. He slunk through the shadows slipping on his mask, a gruesome sea monster, and released his tentacle like kagune.

He licked his lips again as the teen stumbled closer to his hiding place. As soon as he was in front of Percy's hiding spot, the ghoul acted. He lashed out to grab the man's ankles and pulled him into the darkness.

Percy quickly silenced the teen and began to eat tearing at the flesh when he heard a familiar cry. He had removed his mask to eat and whirled around to see his girlfriend from school. Annabeth was staring at him with wide eyes as he swallowed what was left in his mouth.

Images flashed through his head as he remembered all the times they shared. How she tutored him in reading because of his dyslexia. How she hold his hand. How she would ramble to him about school. He gritted his teeth knowing he had to kill her. Percy reared back a tentacle as tears started in his eyes when something slammed into him.

Annabeth hugged her boyfriend around the middle. "You," she sobbed as she finally realized why he was always so distant, cold, and sad,"you must have been so lonely." Percy gritted his teeth tighter as he hugged her back neither of them caring about the blood that covered him.

She accepted him. It was all he could think as the blonde cried into his chest. She actually accepted him ghoul or not.
