assumed it was due to the clouds going over the moon or something like that as I did not believe too much in the supernatural and then I made my way out of the hospital and to the job I had been missing which surprisingly was still happening because I was going to be starting so late but, had not gone because Riley was like in horrible condition.
I honestly didn't want to work at a time like this but, as I walked into the restaurant it seemed like everyone was celebrating some kind of event which had happened during the time the restaurant was closed. The manager must have saw me walk in because I suddenly heard her voice " I thought one of your friends were in hospital is everything okay?"
Not used to the managers sympathy I stumbled over my words " Yeah, I have to come in because I can't stay at the hospital and I need to take my mind off Riley somehow so I thought 'Why don't I just ... go to work..' Yeah"
I suddenly realised that this excuse was really pitiful and doesn't really make up for the fact that I wanted to be by Riley's side when he woke up. I went about my job and tried to focus on the work rather than the thoughts bubbling about my head...
Riley's Accident
It was time to meet up with Cerin who was going to help me hunt down the abnormal amounts of the monsters tonight and I needed to get out the house without Sky noticing I was geared up for the hunt. This however was not the hardest task in the world I just had to wait for her to go to her first job which seemed to be taking up a lot of her time at the moment.
Once she had left saying good bye and slamming the door I came out of my room and went down the stairs to change my shoes to my boots and then left the house with the thought I would be back later tonight. I didn't walk to the airport as that would take to long and I was sure I was going to get some strange looks from passer-by's so I walked down the street and although I didn't have a driving license my father had taught me how to ride a motorbike, the motorbike which was mine was down the road by a few feet so that Sky would not notice that it had been here since I moved in and then I got on turning on the cloak for the bike and myself so that people did not give me strange looks and then I rode the bike to the airport where I waited outside to see my friend Cerin.
I checked my phone and saw that it was almost time for the monsters to come out and I had been waiting for a long time and although I was patient I was not that patient. I had waited long enough and I could not wait any longer. Cerin would be able to find me from the mark I left on the floor and he would join the hunt but, right now I needed to get out there.
