or could be used to make mini-displays in other parts of the shop. i decided that i should probably buy decorations for the whole store, such as streamers and signs to make the whole shop look that much Halloweeny and hopefully bring people to the shop so that i wouldn't have to go back to the tills i had worked so hard to get off of. I looked through all the streamers on the website and found these orange streams with pumpkin's, and cats on them and i thought this would make the whole store more appealing as it the moment it was quite bland. I took a deep breath and read how much it would cost to buy all this along with how long it would take to get to the store.
I then went back to reading the leaflet to see what i am supposed to do whilst i have nothing to buy or set up, the leaflet itself suggested that i should help my co-workers so they might help me in the future. I was going to do that but, then i remembered that i had to take down the christmas stuff that was still scattered around the store.
I got to work not even thinking about how Riley was at my house alone right now and I definitely did not think about all the bills i would have to pay and such.
At the end of my shift I made my way to the way out of the store, I took a deep breath as i saw my boss step into my view and ask how i was doing. I looked him in the eye and said "I am really sorry but, i need to go to my other job, I really hope you don't mind"
He seemed very apologetic as i walked away from him but, now i was running a few minutes late and it wouldn't help that the rain had made all the sidewalks really wet so i was slipping everywhere.
The Night Cafe
I quickly ran into the house taking off my jacket and running into my room,i hear Riley call out " So, I got a job"
I said back "That's great! way ta go"
I was fumbling about with my top trying to get it to go the right way around as Riley said " Yeah it's the same kind of thing my dad worked in so I will be making some money"
I made a noise of approval as I tied my apron around me and did it up at the side because I couldn't reach the back very easily. I ran out the door and Riley was casually laying on the couch watching one of the Kids TV shows, i quickly ran past him grabbing my bag and not bothering with a coat because I had to get to the cafe before I was fired or demoted or made to do things which i really didn't want to do.
I ran down the street, the keys jangling in my hand from where i had locked the door and then I ran into the misty room which was the cafe where i worked. The Manager here was female but, you almost could never see her face, actually you could never see anyones face unless of course the mist cleared but, one of the rules we had at this cafe was to never look at a customers face and so I had never seen one of the customers here.i simply looked at their feet and asked what they wanted.
