Once again Toni had me in this bed with her while she slept. She held my hand tightly sleeping peacefully.

I didn't know much about her, but I know for some reason we met at the park and maybe it's for that reason she could be the person to change me and make a big impact on my life.

"Hello I'm doctor Dawani, I'll be looking and helping her along with her therapy for the next couple of weeks. You are her girlfri—."

"No I'm just her friend." I looked down at her still sound asleep on my shoulder.

"Ok, you mind waking her up for me?"

"I'll try, she really can be something."

"I can tell."

"Toni sweetheart." I shook her lightly

"Jan stop moving."she grumbled

"Toni there's a doctor here, you have to wake up. Please." She lifted her head up as her eyes were still closed and her hand still in tight grip with mines.

"Hello Ms. Braxton, I'm doctor Dawani I'll be assuring you with therapy over the next couple of weeks. Today I'm just here to go over the concept, well—."

"Hold up holiday you said weeks? As in more than two days."

"Yes more than two days Ms.Braxton."

"But the state game this weekend."

"It isn't like you can play."

"Don't remind me ok."

"I was ju—."

"Ohh Toni." One of Toni's teammates came in and brought a friend I guess. She was really pretty, light skin and had a nice shape.

"Wassuh D."

"Missing you, Toni this is my cousin India. India this the ankle breaker, Toni."

"Diamond told me a lot about you, she just didn't say you were this fine."

"She tend to forget stuff like that. She didn't tell me you were this beautiful." She only calls me beautiful.

"Thank you." I cleared my throat as they made heart eyes at each other

"Diamond, India, this is doctor Dawani and my friend Janet." She said the doctors name before me, ain't no way.

"Hi, nice to meet you." Diamond shook my hand as for India she just looked at me as Toni still held my hand.

"I'll come back later Ms. Braxton, remember weeks not days."

"I know Patel." He left as Diamond sat on the other side of Toni hugging her tightly.

"Alright D, geez."

"This your girlfriend you've been hiding?"

"No Diamond this is not my girlfriend you heard me say friend. Damn are you deaf."

"She's just slow." India said as she took another glance at Toni.

"Oh I believe it. But to get back to you, where you from?"

"East Clarendon, it's in South Carolina."

"I think we played them one year."

"You probably did." They stared at each other some more, which was pissing me off for some odd reason. At this moment Ian wanted the girl nowhere near Toni.
