" And then the door creaked, the two kids kept hiding under the bed, staying still, terrified.... bang! The mysterious creature pushed the door open. It slowly moved towards the bed and....."
"Kyaaaaaaaa!!! Stop, stop it, enough." Cried Judith, interrupting Peter who was so absorbed in telling the ghost story. "Hey, just at the good part." growled Peter. "The electricity still hasn't come back. so we are still using the petrol fueled lights. The atmosphere was perfect for a horror story, plus it's cold and we're all here gathered in a circle enveloped like sausages in our blankets. Now that's ruined." said Sophia. "Well we can't do much, our electricity is generated by the force of wind and water." said Judith, "Nonsense, while that may be true but it has not been long since electricity has been introduced to both Leiden and Leisenburg as we still live in this late Victorian era." said Mathilda. "Well that makes sense." Said Peter. "Time to go to bed." said Gilbert suddenly appearing into the hall. The three cousins stood up, letting the blankets fall onto the floor. The three of them had no hair updo at that moment and wore their simple night dresses. Mathilda had shoulder length partially curly and shiny black hair. Judith had shoulder length curly red hair and Sophia had long silky and straight dark brown hair. Gilbert and Peter both blushed a little and rushed to their own rooms. The three cousins picked their blankets back up and headed to their rooms too, following after Gilbert and Peter. "By the way, have you three decided on which part time jobs you're going to apply for?" asked Peter. "Well, I decided on working as a librarian at the grand lotus library, it's near the university." responded Mathilda. "And what about you Judith?" asked Peter, "Erm, well, I decided on the downtown manga café." responded Judith with utmost confidence. "And you Sophia?" added Gilbert, "I decided on working as an auto memory doll at the memory doll mail company....what was the name again? Ah yes the Watford memory mail company." responded Sophia. "And are you sure about that?" asked Gilbert, "Well certainly, I only have to write letters as per the clients' request on a typewriter, it pays well too." responded Sophia, "Very well." said Gilbert coldly, "Hey big bro, cut her some slack already, do they look dumb to you?" said Peter, "Princesses are all dumb." responded Gilbert coldly, then entered his room. "Well don't mind my brother, he has this cold attitude since he is this country's top military colonel. Go in and rest." Said Peter; trying to comfort the three princesses and escorted them to their room.
The room given to them had three beds, a bathroom with a huge bathtub and three showers, as well as three toilets. their room also had three desks and wardrobes. "Say tomorrow is the start of University, aren't thee all excited?" asked Sophia who was so excited she couldn't sleep. "Heck yeah, I am." responded Judith and Mathilda in unison. Three hours passed and it was now three minutes past midnight and the three of them were still wide awake. "H-hey, asleep yet?" asked Mathilda, "No" responded both Sophia and Judith. "It's too quiet, don't you think?" asked Judith, "Yeah..." responded Mathilda. "Hey I know, let's sing a song, let's sing ourselves to sleep. You know the song my mum used to sing to make us sleep." suggested Sophia. Judith and Mathilda both nodded and the three of them started to sing.
Boys, they're handsome and strong
But always the first to tell me I'm wrong
Boys try to tame me, I know
They tell me I'm weird and won't let it go
No, I'm fine, I'm lying on the floor again
Cracked door, I always want to let you in
Even after all the shit, I'm resilient
'cause a princess doesn't cry
A princess doesn't cry
Over monsters in the night
Don't waste our precious time
Oh boys with pretty eyes
A princess doesn't cry
A princess doesn't cry
Burning like a fire
You feel it all inside
But wipe your teary eyes
'cause princesses don't cry don't cry don't cry Oh
don't cry don't cry Oh
don't cry don't cry don't cry Oh
'Cause princesses don't cry
Girls, so pretty and poised and soft to the touch
But God made me rough
Girls, so heavy the crown, they carry it tall
But it's weighing me down
No, I'm fine, I'm lying on the floor again
Cracked door, you're only gonna let them in once
And you won't come undone
'Cause a princess doesn't cry
A princess doesn't cry
over monsters in the night
Don't waste our precious time
Oh boys with pretty eyes
A princess doesn't cry
A princess doesn't cry
Burning like a fire
You feel it all inside
but wipe your teary eyes
'Cause princesses don't cry don't cry don't cry Oh
don't cry don't cry Oh
don't cry don't cry don't cry Oh
'Cause princesses don't cry
I'm fine, I won't waste my time
keep it in a jar, and we'll leave it for the next one
Yeah, I'm fine, I won't waste my time
keep it in a jar, and we'll leave it for the next one
Yeah, I'm fine, I'm lying on the floor again
'Cause a princess doesn't cry
A princess doesn't cry
Over monsters in the night
Don't waste our precious time
Oh boys with pretty eyes
A princess doesn't cry
A princess doesn't cry
Burning like a fire
You feel it all inside
But wipe your teary eyes
'Cause princesses don't cry don't cry don't cry Oh
don't cry don't cry Oh
don't cry don't cry don't cry Oh
'Cause princesses don't cry don't cry don't cry Oh
don't cry don't cry Oh
don't cry don't cry don't cry Oh
'Cause princesses don't cry
After they sung their lungs out, they finally fell asleep. Who knows what kind of adventures awaits them next; after they start University.
