He looked shocked. Guess I was a mess. I smiled and said,"Hi, I'm Isabella, but call me Issa, and you are?". He smiled and said, "Alexander but call me Alex." I nodded and I felt a tug in my heart to go to him so I stepped forwards. He looked happy about that. "Well, it's nice to meet you, now if you'll excuse me, I have to get back to cooking." He nodded and walked away.

Alexander's pov

I was walking down the halls, doing my patrols, when I smelled it. Vanilla, roses and honey. I followed the scent and found a young blond girl, around 15 with shorts and tee on. I asked,"Whatcha cooking?". She was caught off guard and spun around. When she did this I realized two things. 1: she's human. 2: she's my mate. I was so glad I found her when she told me her name all I could think was ,What a beautiful name and a perfect girl. She even had manners, even when she asked me to leave. I hadn't at first and just watched her cook. Then I went to tell her mom that I'm her mate, but I haven't told her yet but I'm doing it as soon as possible. I found out that she loves red roses and chocolate from her mother. I went and got some from the store. I sniffed and she's in her room. So I ran up and knocked. I heard her hop of the bed and walk towards the door. Here we go.

Isabella's pov

I open the door and see Alex with my favorite flowers, red roses, and my favorite thing in the world, candy, more importantly chocolate! I smiled at him and asked politely,"May I help you?". He nodded and asked,"May I come in?". I nodded and moved out of his way to let him in. He walked in and laid on my bed and patted next to him. I hopped up next to him and said,"What's up?". He took a deep breath and asked,"You know what mates are?". I nodded my head slowly. "Well, your mine.". I turned towards him shocked.
