INT. AIRPLANE - DAY
The plane is a normal domestic airplane. The passengers consist of all types: Cowboys, Latin Americans, Native Americans, men, women, children. There are no empty seats.
FOCUS ON:
A woman sitting in the window seat of the 15th row, left side of the plane. It is the girl from the pictures.
Rose (25), Caucasian with short brunette hair and many piercings all over her face. A walking goth stereotype, wearing all black with black lipstick and fishnet stockings. An almost constant uncaring look on her face.
Next to her sits a middle aged married couple. They are happy. Too happy.
WOMAN
Wow. This is amazing. Just look at that view.
MAN
I know. The desert is so majestic. I'm so glad
we got to do this.
WOMAN
I can't believe Rachel is getting married. She's only 26,
but hey if you find the right person you hold onto
'em.
The man takes the woman's hand and pecks her on the cheek.
Rose groans. She looks out the window revealing a large city in the middle of a desert. It is a hot sunny day. The streets are bustling.
CAPTAIN (O.S.)
If you look out to your left you will see
the beautiful Phoenix, Arizona. I'm happy to say we'll be
landing in 15 minutes, making us 30 minutes earlier than
expected. I hope you have enjoyed your flight and have
a wonderful stay. We hope you join us again real soon.
Rose groans again, disgusted by all the positivity.
