EXT. RENTAL PARKING LOT - DAY
The burning sun blazes down on a large parking lot lined with rows of rental cars. In the background sits a decent sized building with a big sign that says Phoenix Sky Harbor.
Rose exits the building on her cell phone with a piece of paper in her other hand.
ROSE
Yeah mom.Beat.
ROSE (CONT'D)
It was dull. What else is new?Beat.
ROSE (CONT'D)
I know.Beat.
ROSE (CONT'D)
No, I'm not angry at you.Beat.
ROSE (CONT'D)
Yes I'm sure.Beat.
ROSE (CONT'D)
Ok. I'll talk to you later. Have fun at class.Rose removes the phone from her ear and presses end. The home screen appears, revealing a picture of Rose and another girl of similar age and style kissing.
Rose puts the phone in her pocket and reads the paper as she continues walking forward.
She walks up to a blue 4 door. It's nothing special, but it will get her where she's going. She takes a key out of her pocket, gets in the car, and closes the door.
