XXII. Scorned Woman

We finally arrived at the HQ where Kelly's screams and yells can be heard.

"I'll fucking kill that son of a bitch! GIOVANNI!! WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!!" She yelled, looking everywhere for me.

Timothy held her and dragged her into the interrogation room where we will ask her questions.

"Damn. That girl really is psychotic. Look at her." Ashley said, staring at Kelly.

Rami ignored her. "Let's go."

We followed Rami into the interrogation room.

Kelly's chained and alone in the room.

Rami advised that it's best to leave her alone for she might cause havoc again.

"If you want to ask her questions, just press this green button." She pointed the button and I nodded. "I'll ask her first." She said.

"Kellary Mitchell-Herring, are you guilty of poisoning Mr. Victor Lance and attempting to poison Ms. Lorraine Rivera?" Rami asked, staring at Kelly.

Kelly laughed menacingly. "Of course, I'm guilty." She smiled and looked at the mirror. "I did it and I fucking enjoyed it. Seeing Victor cough and puke blood and seeing Lorraine panic." She chuckled again.

I gritted my teeth and reached for the green button but was interrupted by a police officer who entered our room.

"Rami." A buff police officer called Rami.

"What is it? I'm in a middle of an interrogation. That must wait." Rami hissed but the police officer insisted.

"It's about her." The police officer pointed Kelly. "She killed her husband. Burned down their house."

Rami massaged her temple and pressed the green button. "Are you guilty of murdering your own husband?"

Kelly laughed hysterically. "Oh! Yes, yes, yes! I mutilated and blinded him using a shard of glass, and burned our house down with him!" She laughed again.

Rami sighed. "Well, it seems to me like she really is a psycho. She's guilty of murdering her own husband and two attempted murder."

I clenched my fist and slammed the green button. "Where did you got that poison?" I asked coldly.

She chuckled. "Giovanni, you son of a bitch." Her expression turned cold. "YOU MADE ME BELIEVE THAT YOU FUCKING LOVE ME!" She yelled.

"I asked you once and I won't ask you again." I threatened. "Fucking answer me, Kelly."

She sobbed and laughed at the same time. "Margot gave me the poison. She told me that it will only make the person puke blood and that is it." She stared at the mirror. "Go and ask her."
I looked at Rami. "Where is Margot?" I asked.

"There." She pointed a woman in her 40's, crying.

I walked towards her. "Ma'am. Are you the one who sold Kelly the poison?" I calmy asked.

She nodded. "It was only intended to make the person puke blood, not kill a person. Please, let me go. I promise, it's not that lethal! You can examine it if you like!" She pleaded me.

"Only intended to make the person puke blood, not kill a person... But why is Victor in a critical stage now?" I asked myself.

"I hope you're not lying, Ma'am." I said and left. I grabbed my phone from my right pocket but I felt something else.

The poison...

I instantly looked at Ashley.
