Lorraine's
I sprinted towards Giovanni's office and locked the door.
"This is it, Lorraine. The moment of truth." I can hear the happiness in Jennifer's voice.
I smiled. "Yes, this is it."
I walked towards the bookshelf and touched the book, Comedy of Errors by William Shakespeare.
As far as I can remember, this is the book Giovanni grabbed that showed us the door...
As soon as I grabbed the book, the book shelves separated, revealing the door to the secret room.
I smiled to myself. "Here it is."
I opened the door and entered.
This secret room served as the hidden archive of large amount of documents and files of the Vurmingham's, piled up on each shelves.
Antique objects are also everywhere.
You can already tell by the looks of it that this room has seen their development, downfall and growth.
"Where do you think Mr. Vurmingham hid those recordings?" Jennifer asked.
I thought long and hard. "Somewhere unexpected."
I looked around the room, searching for somewhere or something where Uncle Robert may have hid those recordings.
Then, my eyes landed on the antique piano.
My face lit up. "I remembered the last time I was at their mansion, Uncle Robert played me a song."
"What song is that?" Jennifer asked.
"Jenny of Oldstones."
I let my fingers touch the cold, dusty piano keys as I tried to remember what happened that time.
"He told me..." I closed my eyes. "This song reminds me of our family's success, failures and achievements. Pretty much everything about our family, even our secrets."
I sighed as the memories rushed back.
Flashback
"Why does it remind you of such things, Uncle?" I asked.
Uncle Robert smiled. "Let me play it for you."
He played the song and I instantly recognized it. "From game of thrones!" I exclaimed.
"Yes. Good thing you know the show." Uncle Robert smiled again.
"I know the lyrics as well, because the lyrics was so easy to remember" I chuckled. "I can't remove that song in my head for days!" I laughed.
Uncle Robert chuckled. "Sing it for me."
I took a deep breath and sang. The piano accompanying me.
High in the halls of the kings who are gone
Jenny would dance with her ghosts
The ones she had lost and the ones she had found
And the ones who had loved her the mostThe ones who'd been gone for so very long
She couldn't remember their names
They spun her around on the damp old stones
Spun away all her sorrow and pain
