Lucy's POV:

I can't believe that my father died. *sob* I couldn't even apologize for what I did. But that's in the past now and he's in a better place. Now I have to keep on living my life.

I came to the guild to see Macao and Romeo arguing about something.

"No dad! Can't you see that it's not gonna work! It didn't work the other times that we did it!"

"Would you rather let us be in debt or earn money a easier way to get out of it?!"

I went up to Natsu.

"Do you have any idea what they're talking about?"

Natsu turns to me then looks back at the father and son arguing.

"I don't know. They've been at it before I got here."

Master Makarov went up to them.

"My children, what are you arguing in about?"

Macao turned to Master.

"We have a way to earn money for the guild hall!"

All of us, excluding Wendy and Romeo, gasped.

I saw Romeo and Wendy exchange a look to one another.

Wendy's POV:

I remembered what (N/N) told me and Romeo a week before.

Flashback~

"I need you guys to be against the Grand Magic Games for a while.", she told us.

Confusion was probably evident on my face because (N/N) explains it.

"The Grand Magic Games is a annual event that ranks different guilds based on how they do on certain events they hold."

Sting continued, "They change the events every year. One year they had a race, another time they had an eating contest. Which was pretty weird if you ask me."

Romeo turned to me, "Fairy Tail always sent the wrong people every year to participate. But, since that you guys came back, they have some hope that they will win this year."

I nodded. I look at (N/N).

"But why do we have to be against it?"

She gave me the sweet smile that I didn't see in 7 years.

"You silly! So then the Tenrou team is more motivated to participate."

She crossed her arms and giggles.

"And knowing Gramps, he would want to participate for the reward money."

She leans forward. "Do you understand the plan?"

Romeo and I nodded.

She grabbed the menu, "So, are you guys hungry? Cause I'm starving!"

We all laugh at her comment.

Flashback over~

I softly smiled at the memory. An annoying, high-pitched voice brought me back to reality.

"Wendy! What do you think we should do about this?"

I looked at Lucy, who was giving me a sickeningly sweet smile.
