A Love Rival??

A/N: I'm skipping Laxus' fight because it wouldn't really contribute to the storyline. I also wanted it to be something for him only, you get what I'm saying?

Wendy's POV

I'm really proud of Laxus! I was relieved when him being beaten to a pulp was just an illusion.

As the Raven Tail members are taken away by the officials, the announcer spoke.

"Because of you breaking the rules, Raven Tail are not allowed in the games for 3 years."

I noticed Laxus talking to his father, Ivan, while he was dragged away by the authorities.

As they cleaned up the stadium for the next battle, the pumpkin host began to speak.

"Um, sorry about that everyone." He smiles nervously, "Why don't we put that behind us and quickly move on to our 4th and last battle of the day!"

The crowd animatedly responds to his words.

"Wendy Marvell from Fairy Tail Team A vs. Lamia Sacle's Shelia Blendy!"

"Shelia, huh?"

I look over at Lamia Scale's stand to see Lyon hyping up the girl who looks like Sherry.

"They're probably related. With them looking the same and all the talk about love."

A hand began to pet my head. I look up to see that it was Romeo running his fingers through my hair.

"Show the world who you really are." A loving smile was on his lips.

I blush, shyly returning his smile before I jumped down the ledge.

Third POV

It took a while, but Shelia finally came skipping inside the battleground.

The girls stare at each other as the main announcer speaks.

"What a cute pair of girls! Good luck on your battle, ok?" He gushes, a blush evident on his face.

(Y/N) bites her lip as she stares at Wendy.

"I hope she gets the upper hand first. If Shelia does, Wendy-chan will exert too much energy."

She then remembered what she taught Wendy during the three months.

Beginning of Flashback

"Instead of fighting, I'm gonna teach you about your god slayer counterpart today." (Y/N) brings in notebooks and pencils to Wendy's room.

Wendy tilts her head, "God Slayer? Wait, there's a person who has Sky God Slayer magic??"

Her sister figure sits on the rug that's centered in the room.

"Yes, and I want you to be prepared when you meet them, whoever they are."

The (S/C) girl flips the cover and began writing, Wendy joining her on the rug.

"After I taught you how to assess your opponent and how to read their aura, since Grandine has some connection with Celesta, you will probably be able to tell that it's them when you meet them."

Wendy picked up the other notebook and flipped the cover. Jotting down a title, she looks at her best friend.

"So, what will I feel at first?" Her honey brown eyes looks at (Y/N) in question.

The older girl thinks for a second, tapping her finger on her chin.

"I think you would feel different winds coming at you from all four directions. Since the Sky god has control over the Four Winds, it would make sense that they would have something connected to that." Wendy quickly writes it down.
