Luigi's POV

"Fuck!" I hiss loudly and throw my phone away. I can't believe this is happening right now, today of all days when it's time for the gala and Paris decided to ditch me. Saying she has an emergency business and is on her way to Boston as I speak.

I can't make an appearance without a date by my side. A female figure to create the impression I'm somewhat a family man and not some playboy. They say it's good for business and now how am I going to do that?

Chyna, my newest assistant walked into my study with a gloomy look on her face. She darted her eyes to the shattered phone on the floor and then back at me. My rising chest and scowl gave her a more reason to back away from me and not deliver whatever news she has. She excused herself to check up on the models I asked her to book an appointment with in case Paris fails me and judging by her look, it didn't go well or it might just be my negativity. "Spill the goddamn shit and get out of here!" I barked at her, taking both my anger on her and getting fed up with her timid behavior.

"Uh-Sir- the—"

"The what! Stop this stuttering and get this done with because I know you don't stutter when you're moaning and getting some."

"I'm sorry sir," she blushed and looked downwards, "I meant the models said they can't make it, they've been booked and the escort agency I enquired from said they're having issues with the feds for weeks now and so can't render their services and they're very sorry too, the owner told me to tell you she will personally make it up to you."

I huffed at that, I don't need no old cunt to please me. I get the girls anytime I can with just a clap of my hands, they'll be at my feet doing what they know best. "Try harder! Are you this incompetent? Are you trying to tell me I'm wasting my money in paying you just for you not to prove no results?"

"No sir, I did all what I could but it's still the same. Every agency and model I contact is giving me stories, sir it's like someone prominent out there is paying them to do that—"

"Shut your trap, there's no one as prominent as me and my family in this whole city and country. Get out! You useless excuse of an assistant."

"Sorry sir." She meekly bowed her head and made for the door.

She wasn't out of it when an idea came into my head, "Miss Grayson, put my stylist on the line for me."

"Okay sir." She got down to business l, extending the phone to me, "she's on the line sir."

"Adela, take your best stuffs and your whole team and go to this address," I paused and fished out a file from my confidential cabinet, skimming through it, I told her the said address and hanged up.

Life is a win and lose affair, tonight, I've got my fingers crossed as I anticipate how everything will turn out. It's definitely a double win if my idea goes through successfully and a great loss if it doesn't.

Sorry for a short chapter😑, my phone was messing up and after a great deal of difficulty, I was able to come up with this. I'll make it up to you in the next, pinky promise😍.
