4: narrative

The rest of the week went by rather quick. Tuesday afternoon I spent at the mall with Saga and Hope.
I brought loads of stuff so when I got home I filmed a haul.

Wednesday I had practice and after that I hung out with the boys. Nothing special really.

Yesterday I had practice again. We were getting close to the new season so we really had to prepare a lot.
Alejandro and I also went to a carnival, which was great.

It was now last period, this fine Friday afternoon.
The air in my history class was thick. All windows were closed and the sun shone right through, making me feel like I was in a greenhouse.
Watching a few other students having pearls of sweat dripping down their faces, told me I wasn't the only one slowly dying.
The bell finally rang and everyone rushed to get into the air conditioned hall ways.

I met up with Saga and Hope on the field, waiting for the boys to be done with their practice. I were hanging out with the boys at Kairis place today, since he had a pool.

I laid down on one of the bleachers, trying to get some tan.
"What are you doing tonight Sag?" Hope asked.
"I'm going out with Ale" She smiled. "He's taking me to some restaurant" she sounded so happy.
I, of course, had known about this for weeks. Ale hadn't shut up about it. Truly couple goals.
"That's so cute" Hope mentioned, her eyes dreamy.
"I feel single nowww" she complained.

I lifted my head to look at them before joining in.
"Same"
Both their heads shot in my direction. "What?" I gave them a confused look.
"Oh I've seen the way you look at Mattia" Saga said. "And the way you always piss off Jenna" Hope chimed in.
I got more confused and turned my head slightly.
"What do you mean?" I asked again. They both laughed at me, like I was some fool.

We got interrupted by someone screaming on the pitch. We all looked towards were it came from, revealing Jenna and Mattia having a huge fight.
"Speaking of" Hope commented slyly.

Mattia suddenly threw his hands in the air and Jenna walked away in frustration.
"I really hope they're done for good now" I let out.

Again, my two besties heads snapped in my direction, in a matter of seconds. "Oh yeah so there's nothing going on?" Saga said, dragging out the nothing.
I rolled my eyes, before picking up my sunglasses from my bag.
"You see these?" I asked the two girls, they both looked weirdly at each other before nodding.
I put them on slowly before continuing to speak.
"These are my hater blockers" I laid down.
"When I wear these, non of y'all's comments get to me"
They both started cracking up, but I didn't bother, I wore my hater blockers for fuck sake.

After about 20 more minutes or so the boys walked up to us. "What's up with her?" Kairi asked and pointed at me, still lying down on the bleacher.
"Shhhh" Hope shushed him. "She's wearing her haterblockers" Saga mocked me.

I tried to cover my smile when I sat up.
"So are we going or what?"
The boys nodded as I fully got up.
"Hope you coming with us?"
She shook her head no. "No sorry, gotta babysit the kids"
"Awww, next time then?" I asked, feeling kinda bad for her that she had to take so much care of her smaller siblings.
"Definitely!" She exclaimed before the boys and I left.

I walked besides Kairi, on the hot pavement of the parking lot when Ale suddenly screams "SHOTGUN" and ran towards his car.
I sighed deeply before walking the rest of the small distance to the black Benz.
I got in the back sitting next to Mattia.
"Isn't Alvaro and Roshaun coming?" I asked, when we started to roll out of the PVHS parking lot.
"Maybe Alvaro, but Roshaun have some family visiting" Mattia answered me.

"Oh. Alright"

Kairi put on some music and we all just started singing along.
"Cuz you make my earfquake"
Mattia and I looked at each other before screaming at the top of our longs.
"YEAH YOU MAKE MY EARFQUAKEEEE"
Kairis head snapped back in shock, looking back at us before joining in.

"You guys are too much" Ale laughed out, but eventually he joined in too.

"RIDING AROUND, YOUR LOVE IS SHAKIN ME UP AND ITS MAKING MY HEARTBREAK"

We soon enough rolled into Kairis empty driveway, and moments later we were in his pool.

We all just kinda splashed around. Kairi and I had this huge water fight, and eventually I won.
"That's just not fairrr" he complained when I threw him into the water for the second time.
"It's not my problem you're like 5 ft"
"Oooohh" Ale and Mattia said in sync.
He's face went into flames. He jumped on me and got me under the surface.

I laughed as soon as I got up. "Sorry bro"
I swam to him a hugged his head.

Kairi and Alejandro got up, and went to Kairis lounge chairs and laid down, probably trying to get some tan.
I swam to Mattia who were just chilling in the deep end.
"Waddup" I announced my entrance next to him. I were a bad swim so I quickly grabbed the edge.

"We broke up" he quietly said. I looked at him, trying to find out how he was feeling.
"I mean i could say I'm sorry" I coughed a bit. "But I'm not"

He laughed at my silliness before splashing water at me. "Stooop" I screamed.
I let go of the edge trying to get back at him, turns out that wasn't a good idea.
My head quickly got under the water and I had a hard time trying to get up again.

I felt Mattis hands around my waist lifting me above the surface.
"Thank you" I sad, while still trying to catch my breath.
He held me up against the edge and just looked at me. I wrapped my legs around his torso, and his hands travelled to my ass.

He swam us to the float, were we both laid down and just snuggled onto each other.
He softly ran his hand up and down my thigh, making me shiver a little.
"You like this, huh?" He whispered in a raspy voice.
I turned my head to look at him, a smirk on my lips.

He leaned in and his face were now inches from mine. I quickly looked from his lips to his eyes. Our lips were almost touching when I heard Kairi cough loudly.

My head jerked in his direction. He winked at us, but then pointed at Alejandro, who was still sunbathing and luckily hadn't paid attention to what had happened.

"Shit" I whispered before getting off of mattia and out of the water.
"Noting happened" I assured Kairi who kept nudging me. Mattia got up only a few moments later. We all decided to go inside and eat something.

Kairi made us all some cup noodles.
"Awww such husband material" I said, when he placed mine in front of me.
"Yooo don't steal my mans Mel" Mattia yelled, clearly offended.
We all laughed at that.

"Let's go live before I have to go home" Ale suggested. We all agreed and soon 12.583 people were watching us.

"Hi guys" he said. "Ask us some questions" Kairi said, while sitting down next to Ale.
I got up and stood in the background, still stuffing my mouth with the noodles.

Mattia popped his head into the frame.
"I'm right hereee"

"Is it true that Jenna and Mattia broke up?" Kairi read one of the comments. We all looked at Mattia, waiting for him to say something.
He didn't seem too bothered tho.

"Yeah. She was toxic" he looked at me while saying that, using the words I had told him earlier this week. I gave him a small smile before starting to read some of the comments.
