I rolled my eyes at him before finishing my makeup. I walked the few meters from my vanity to the bed and hopped on top of ale, I eventually got my phone back. "Guys I'm gonna end the live now, but have a good dayyyy!" I smiled before ending it.

We both went downstairs to find mom, dad and Emiliano around the table eating breakfast. "Buenos días mis amores"
"Morning" I walked up to my mom giving her a hug before saying. "I'm leaving now, have to speak with the coach before school starts"
Alejandro, who had just sat down next to our dad gave me an annoyed look. "How the fuck am I going to school then?" He said. "Language!" Dad chimed in. "Either you're walking or you're coming with me now?" I said, hoping he would come with me now, so I didn't have to drive.
He got up and hugged our parents farewell before heading to our car. I threw him the keys, "you're driving" I gave him a sly smile. He sighed but didn't bother to fight me, 'cause he knew he would lose.
I quickly connected to the bluetooth and put some bangers on. We both sang along, and quickly rolled into the school parking lot.
Since it was early not many cars were parked and it was easy to find an open spot right next to the entrance. I unbuckled my seatbelt before getting out of the car. Before I closed the door fully I said my goodbyes to ale, who was waiting in the car for the boys to arrive.
Walking the empty hallways of Passaic Valley High always had me feeling like being in some ghost movie. Soon enough just a few students started showing up tho.

"I'm not a fucking hoe" Alvaro protested. I didn't have time to answer before Ms. Smith began her teaching. Her voice was boring and after a few minutes I zoned out.
Next thing I now Kairi was basically screaming. "Get up Mel" I snapped my head up to reveal the two boys laughing at me. "Class is over" Alvaro said, a little softer, but still laughing. "Oh fuck off" I brushed them both off before leaving the room.
All classes today were boring, so when lunch rolled around I was eased. I walked towards our usual table in the cafeteria. Everyone was already there plus Mattias girlfriend Jenna. I sat down next to her, receiving a weird look.
Tbh I don't really liked her. Once, she was one of my closest friends, but she turned out to be toxic as fuck. "Hiii" she said in her sugary voice. I looked at her and sent her a look, telling her to shut up. Luckily, she did. I turned to my right to talk with Hope, while taking a few bites of my sandwich.
"Soooo" Alejandro caught everyone's attention. "Hanging out a my house later?" "Yeah, after prac?" Mattia asked, ale answering his question with a nod.
"I cant come, sorry" Jenna said. A smirk spread across my face. "Oh, what a shame" I said, my voice matching her sugary one. Roshaun burst out laughing making the others do so too. Jenna kept on looking at me, disgusted, clearly. "The tensionnn" Hope said lowly, only for me to hear, making me crack up too.
The last class of the day were now over and I was on my way to the lockerrooms, to get ready for volley. I quickly changed. I scrolled through TikTok while walking the little distance to the gym hall, when I bumped into someone. I looked up seeing Mattia. "Oh hi" I said, smiling at him. He gave me a quick nod. "You wanna tell ale to just drive home when your soccer practice is over?" I asked him.
"How are you getting home then?" He ran his hand through his black hair. It kinda looked like a mushroom today. "Saga is giving me a lift home, she's coming over anyway"
"Aight, see ya later" I started walking away but I still felt his eyes on me. I quickly turned around, and to no ones surprise, he still looked at me. "You know it's rude to stare, Mattia" I slightly chuckled and before he could even react I was on my way to my own practice.
