Ready for the Ending (Bakugo x Reader)

11- The Prison

Y/n POV

"Where are we?" Bakugo mumbled.

We were at the prison in the middle of no where. They wanted the prison in a remote place so if someone here broke out, citizens would be safe.

This was no ordinary prison of course. This one was for actually villains. Not those who steal purses or rob gas stations that take the title 'villain'. These are for the 'real deal' as some say.

I'm not going to lie when I say I wasn't really expecting them to come here. Sure their
pretty powerful but they're the people who
'shoot first, ask questions later' and don't formally lay out their plans.

So overall their just sloppy.

"This is a prison. Stay here or you might trip the alarms."

"No I'm fucking not why do you need to go in there!?"

"Information. I need to go alone. They won't answer if a hero is with me. Plus, quirks set off alarms so I need to go in quickly and get back out."

"Fine.. just be careful,"

I nodded and quickly ran the other way. The plus side is that they were so busy hooking up alarms, making sure no one can escape with their quirk, that they didn't pay much attention to the obvious entrances and exits.

I messily cut the fence a bit with some pliers I put in my purse before I left. I quietly crawled through as I stumbled around the dark till I got to the door. Locked.

I groaned before I got an idea. I took the bobby-pins out of my hair and picked the lock. I mentally cheered with success and slowly opened the door. No guards.

I did see a rotating security camera around the corner, so I got to the other side of the wall when it was turned away. The wall that I was on led to an open lunchroom with another security camera at the right.

I looked up and saw a vent. It was completely predictable but that's who I am I only needed to go across this wall but there's no way without getting caught. So I did what all villains do in movies and climbed the vent.

It did not work as well. The bar where I found Bakugo had much bigger vents. My elbows were almost touching my sides but I could still crawl. Just very slowly.

I somehow managed to get across and landed in the cell area. Now to just find the right one....

I did a bit of searching till I saw a burnt piece of toast.

"Oi, you're a part of the LOV correct?"

I stared at the spiky haired man. darkish gray eyes stared back.

"Indeed. I go by Dabi and I'm a part of the LOV.. I don't see why that concerns you."

I grit my teeth. "I'm Sakura's daughter. I'm currently looking for her."

"I know who you are. But I still don't know why this concerns you." He gave a sly smirk. "You want to find, and kill her. Why would I tell you? Trying to play hero..."

I stiffened but kept my cold mask on as he continued.

"They can try and make you a hero. But once a villain. Always a villain."

I grimaced. "Don't talk to me like I'm some fool. I'm a villain, born and raised. A hero can't change that even if their my father."

It wasn't a lie. I was a villain. I am a villain. People don't change and I'm no exception.

"That's why I need to find her. That's why I need to kill her. To set me free. To let me do villainous acts without someone holding me back."

He gave me a look and thought it over. He came over and gripped the bars to his cell. Face close to mine.

"What's it to me?"

Of course. A bargain is the only reason a villain would do anything these days. Good thing I came prepared.

"Don't be a dumbass. Think about it, she got you in here and didn't bother breaking you out. Look how easily I broke into here. A child. It's a shame really."

Anger settled over his face as he leaned in closer signaling me to continue.

"She'll get what she deserves. For locking you and the others. And for what? A chance to kill me and failed."

His fingers were white from how hard he was clutching the bars.

"Alright I'll tell ya, but I have more knowledge that you might want."

I looked at him closer. His eyes showing honesty and trust.

"Alright Dabi lets here it,"

"Break me out. Break me out and let me in on whatever villain organization or shit you have."
