30- Two Weeks After Incident

Bakugo POV

I'm walking back to the hospital to visit Y/n. The class forced me to go out and eat something since I haven't left since I got there.

I thought about what he said to me all those years ago.

"If she was in grief because someone really important to her died, she would freeze. It would take some other strong emotion for her to unfreeze."

Yup. She froze. I tried everything to get her to unfreeze. I wonder.. I was going to give it to her when she was ready but....

It might cause her pain to give to her now.

I thought about it as I entered the building and stood outside her door. I rubbed my face as a headache started forming but pushed the door open anyway.

There laid my beautiful girlfriend. Wires hooked onto her monitoring her heart beat.

I sat in the chair next to her and held her small, fragile hands.

"Hey y/n... I wasn't going to give this to you till you were better but.. maybe now is the best time."

I let go of her hands and opened my backpack. I took out Aizawa's scarf and put it in her lap as I took her hands again.

"He loves you.. More than anything in the world, more than his own life. That's why he did what he did. She can't hurt you anymore, and he made sure of it this time. It isn't your fault he did what he-"

I felt something drip onto my hands and looked up to see y/n's face full of tears with blue streaks in her hair. Her eyes were glued to the scarf.

She took her hands out of mine and placed them on the scarf. She picked it up and placed it around her neck.

"Thank you, Katsuki."
