24- Ice Cream

Y/n POV

Bakugo wanted to talk to dad privately before we left. He said there was a question he really needed an answer too. He promised to tell me later so I let him go. I was just walking through the halls as I saw someone familiar.

"Hey Shinso!"

He looked over and waved with a soft smile. "What are you doing here so late?"

"Katsuki's talking to dad. What about you?"

"I just don't have anywhere to be. Do you want to get ice cream or something?"

I grinned and nodded as we walked out the door. I texted Katsuki quickly telling him I'd meet him at his parents house.

I put my phone in my back pocket and followed him to an ice cream parlor.

He ordered a mint chocolate chip and I got f/f.

We found a booth near the window, catching up with each other and talking about how funny it is when cats get scared of cucumbers.

"So how are you and your boyfriend? I noticed you two weren't in school at all this week." He smirked and lifted an eyebrow.

My face turned a hue of red. "N-no it's not like that! We were just going up to see family!"

"Oh? So you wanted him to meet your family?"

"No! We were.. uh.."

I put my face in my hand holding my ice cream with my other. He just laughed "Whatever you say, y/n."

I removed my hand and continued to eat my ice cream before it dripped onto the table. Shinso's phone made a dinging sound so he picked it up and looked at me.

"That's my dad, I should get going."

"Ok, I should too, bye"

We went our separate ways and I called Katsuki as I neared his house.

"What"

"Hey Katsuki! You home yet?"

"Ya, just come in when you get here."

I hung up and opened the door. I took off my shoes and ran up the stairs to Katsuki's room.

I opened the door and jumped on top of him. He once again wrapped his arms around me and held me to his chest.

I looked up at him and he seems happier than usual. "What's with you?"

"Nothing, you want to go get dinner or something this weekend?"

I looked up at him, laying my chin on his chest. "Aww. You want me to go on a date with you?"

He lightly blushed and looked away. "Shut up. Will you go or not?"

"Wouldn't miss it."
