Y/N POV

"Hurry!" I whispered.

We climbed through a window around the house as we listened for voices but were just met with silence.

I looked around the room we were currently in. The playroom. Moms office is on the other side of the east wall.

If I remember correctly, there is a vent that connects the rooms together in one of the ceiling tiles.

"Oi, Katsuki. Lift me up, I need to get up to the ceiling."

He easily picked me up and set me on his shoulders, gripping my thighs so I won't fall off.

I ducked my head a little as the ceiling wasn't very high. I pointed to the east wall and he walked over.

I lifted one of the tiles but saw nothing. I lifted another and saw the corner of the vent.

"Go a little to the left," I whispered.

He did as told and I lifted the tile to see the vent clearly. I gripped onto the metal between and lifted myself up. Good thing I have a lot of upper body strength. I was careful not to sit on the tiles and fall through a i brought my feet up.

"You good up there?"

"Ya, give me a second."

I opened the vents a bit so I could see in the room. Inside I saw my mom on the phone with someone.

I was directly above her but I still couldn't hear what she was saying. However, I could see the papers on her desk. I could take a picture and- wait.. I left my phone at home!

I scooted back a bit and looked at Bakugo with a hopeful expression.

"What?"

"Did you.. by any chance.. bring your phone."

He reached into his back pocket and pulled it out, handing it to me.

"Oh, thank god."

I moved up to the vent again and took pictures of all the papers littered across the desk.

Looking back to the tiles I removed, my partner was no where to be seen. I frowned and put the phone in my purse.

Putting my purse on one of the ceiling tiles, I debated calling out to them.

Mom might here so I voted against it and lightly jumped down before I was shoved into the wall, hitting my head making the world go black.
