When my dream ended I could hardly believe it, it was like re-living my attack. But for some reason, though I was awake my back still felt as though it was being clawed open again.
As I aloud my eyes to flicker open I saw that once again I was lying in the medicine den, for this I was truly thankful.

"Blackheart?!" I heard Riversong ask urgently,

'I'm fine...' I muttered in my head, forgetting for a moment that she could not hear me.

"You were convulsing in your sleep and re-opened your wound. But before that, I found a way for you to speak to me."

'What?! Tell me now so i can tell you what I've seen!!'

She turned to her den, in the split rock and pulled out two things laying them in front of me.
One was a thin grey stone slab, that was smooth and had rounded edges but with a flat top, the other item was a leaf that had some mud mixed with some sort of berries that turned it to a dark blueish-purple mixture.
Turning back to her den she pulled out yet another stone slab this one had many different markings on it.

"This is a written language that Starclan has given me for you to use, it is from the first clans, it is how we know of Tigerclan and Lionclan, though the last traces of it have been erased from our world Starclan still has it memorized. And I am going to teach it to you."

As I stared at the markings I saw that each one seamed to be different, there was about 35 of the characters. Turning my gaze to my sister I said to her in my head

'Teach me, before my memories fail, before I loose my life to these dreams that I have. Teach me, so I can speak to you again.'

as if Riversong under stood me she pointed to the first letter and said
"This is for the sound 'ahh'"

Then her claw just hovering above the second one she said

"And this is 'iee'"

Finally, my learning had begun!
