"Promise that you will try to get better?" Ashton says looking you in the eyes.
"It's just too much Ashton. I love you so much I hate it that you're the only thing I am staying for." You feel the tears sting your eyes you let them roll down your cheeks.
Ashton wipes them away and hugs you. Ashton bends down and whispers in your ear "But it's your skin, not paper don't cut it, and you hurt me when you hurt you."
"Ashton..." you start but he cuts you off.
"You never promised. You have to promise that you're going to stop. You're going to try and stop. That you are going to do something."
"I promise... but you have to promise something too," You manage to say after a long pause.
"What's that?"
"When I die, you don't stop. You don't stop living your life. You don't stop smiling. You don't stop saving people."
"Okay, I promise. " He says you can hear the hurt in his voice. How he was desperately fighting it back. You just stood there letting him hold you. Trying not to think about what he found you doing earlier.
