At the time of this writing it is 8:23pm. The day has been long and tiring. I woke up this morning to a bloody nose. These bloody noses are common for me, though. I thought nothing of it and took a shower; the bloody nose started bleeding again. I stood in the shower watching the thick red blood run down my body. Once it stopped I got out and dried off. I was rather dizzy and had quite the headache; my temper was also low. My mother then handed me a rag and cleaning supplies, but she was shakily terribly. I took the supplies and she quickly turned around walking away. During her walking away she said to me "Wipe everything down- anything you touch needs to be wiped down." She was worried that a trace of the virus could be on something we've touch. My mother has medical conditions that cause her to be more acceptable to the virus, this made me worried now as well. I did as asked and wiped down everything in my room. Afterwards, I got a bowl of Dyno Bites, off brand coco pebbles. I sat down, watched a video, and enjoyed my breakfast. At that time it was around noon. My mother then asked my father and I to go get ammo for my 20 gauge shotgun. She's worried that if this gets any worse and people have no where to get food that they'll start attacking each other, shes become slightly paranoid. Now, I do doubt that'll be an issue, however to please my mother and calm her nerves we went and bought the ammo. After buying the ammo we went to the store to get groceries. Shelves weren't empty, people acted normal, nothing was wrong. After we bought the groceries we then went to the gas station. I bought myself a large white monster drink, the ones with the twist off caps. I also bought some jerky chew, keeps me from talking for a little while. My father bought a beef stick, pack of greens, and a cup of coffee. Finally, we went home. I got my shotgun and gave to my father to keep in his room; this was his request.
Fast forward a few hours, it's now around 3. My mother is making cinnamon rolls, which I then glazed once done. Me, my mother, and my father then took a shot of whiskey. My brother's girlfriend had come over for a few hours. She didn't talk with the family much and for the must part they just stayed in my brother's room. I did the same, however. I sat in my room all day playing on my console.
My father believes this whole virus is a joke. To a degree I agree with him, but I cant stop seeing online how many people are dying. Now that it's in our small town it's becoming more concerning. Our school is shut down for three weeks due to this.
Day one has gone fine. Mild paranoia, but everything is fine. Day one over.
