I woke up pretty early today, around 9ish. Got straight to doing the school work, I was worried it'd take me all day. To my surprise I was done with everything before noon. Granted, I did skip a few things here and there.
It was all fairly simple, but the fact we had to do it was ridiculous. You can't push review on things from the start of the school year at the end of it. If a child is going to remember something you spent nine weeks doing then that's it, adding it on top of all the other information is too much at once. That's why there are four marking periods all having nine weeks so that the information can be spread out. Now you plan to cramp all of that information into two months; practically one marking period.
I swear I'm going insane. I might have already said this, but a Europe man committed suicide over the quarantine noting that he simply couldn't take it anymore. Humans are naturally social animals that simply can't survive properly without human contact. This epidemic will have lasting effects on people and how people live. This will cause, and almost encourage, a anti social group of people. With more online shopping being common and the fear of getting sick, this will show what the future of man kind will look like.
