Will They Get Me?

The Forest

Maggie's POV

When I heard the scream I knew it was Sara. But how could he have shot her? He obviously didn't see her but how could he just shoot without knowing who it was? I heard Nicole screaming trying to stop the bleeding. She sounded in shock not knowing how she could help her friend or who shot her in the first place. I run and help Sara,  good thing I got some supplies from the hospital, but it was hard because I had one hand. Nicole helps me out and doesn't mind to ask about my hand at the time. We were waiting in the forest and Daryl has been making a place to sleep. While I helped Sara, I heard this.

"I HATE YOU HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO MY FRIEND!" Nicole yelled full of pain at Daryl.

" I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS HER OK! YOU CAN'T YELL AT ME LIKE THIS!HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO SEE IN PURE BLACK!" Daryl yelled back.

" STOP IT YOU TWO!" I yelled at both of them.

And then they just both walked away Daryl finished the place to sleep, and Nicole went to see Sara that  had passed out. I got up and went to talk to Nicole. 

" It was not his fault he did not know you can't blame him." I say

"I know it wasn't his fault but he sould've looked first! He can't just be shooting random people in the dark." Nicole says and then walks away.

I grab her arm and pull her back "There was no way he could've known it was her." I tell her.

"I  know." She rips her arm away and walks away.

We stay there the night and Daryl guards we think that we will go to Carl's school tomorrow, but just Nicole and Daryl. There is no way Sara could be moved and I'm useless with only one hand. I will stay here with Sara while she heals. It was not a big wound, but her ankle was still broken in several places. It's going to be a while until she can walk again.
