Will They Get Me?

The Scream

Nicole's POV

I wake up in the morning and see that my mom is making breakfast. I feel a bit dizzy and tired I go and ask Maggie a question.

''Mom where is dad? And how is Sara doing?'' I asked.

''Your dad is hunting for the big trip to get your brother. Sara is still sleeping and she has a bit of a fever, she will wake up soon.'' She answers quite madly.

"Mom are you still mad at me about yesterday?"

She stays quite and doesn't even look at me. I could see the madness from her face, not just madness though more like disappointment.

" You have to understand she's my best friend I can't bare to lose her."

Maggie looks up to me and that same disappointment in her face grows bigger. " I know that but I can't bare watching my family fall apart."

"You're right and I'm sorry." I say while looking down.

Time passes and I go to my mother to check up on a couple things.

''When are we leaving?''I asked

''You are leaving when your dad comes back with the supplies.'' Says Maggie

Then I hear the scream. I run towards where the scream is I hear this.

''NICOLE DON'T GO'' screams Maggie

But I ignore her I know she can't come after me because she has to take care of Sara. I have a gun in my hand and I run. I see the person he is surrounded by walkers. I'm about to get out of the forest to where the guy is and then somebody grabs me by the mouth and pulls me back. I try to resist and try to run towards the person.

''Shhhhh be quiet Nicole we can't save him he is bit in the neck. There already starting to eat him. '' Carl whispers in my ear.
