We finally met up with the other greasers that were going to be in the rumble with us. It was dark, so that was going to make it more fun.
Some of the Greasers were shocked to see a 7-year-old girl Greaser at a rumble. We only waited a few minutes until the Socs arrived.
As the Socs got closer, I could hear them making jokes and making fun of me that I won't do good in the fight. That got my blood boiling. And that's exactly what I needed.
Then a Soc walked up to Darry as if they knew each other.
"Hello, Darrel. Long time no see," The Soc said.
"Hello, Paul," Darry told the Soc, also known as Paul.
I heard they used to play football together, but I don't know what happened after that.
"I'll take you," Paul said.
Everything was silent until someone broke the silence.
"You know, a rumble ain't a rumble without me!" The person said. It was Dally! He was running straight towards us. Just then, a fist came flying towards Ponyboy and knocked him to the ground. The rumble has started.
A lot of the Socs didn't go for me, but I still fought in it. I usually don't wait for trouble to find me. I usually find the trouble.

I would always hop on someone's back and try to choke them with my arm. Once they would fall to the ground, I would then punch them until I know they had enough. Ponyboy got hit the most by Socs, so I helped him. The others were doing pretty good, if I do say so myself.

As the rumble continued, the Socs started to run for their life. Once they were gone, we all cheered. I looked down at myself to see if I had really bad injuries. To my surprise, I didn't. I only had like one or two bruises.
I then look to the side to see Dally helping Ponyboy get on his feet. Ponyboy looked really injured. I quickly went to him to make sure he was all right.
We then decided to visit Johnny to tell him the good news. So we got in a car and went straight to the hospital.
