Harry Is Torn

Three's Not A Crowd

Niall, Liam and Zayn sat down on the big couch when the interviewer called them out. They sat down in the order they normally would leaving two empty spaces. 

"Why don't you move closer together?" the interviewer asked. 

"No thanks." Liam answered. 

"I doesn't feel right anymore." Zayn agreed. 

"Only Louis can sit in Louis' spot." Niall added. 

"I understand." the interviewer spoke, "I see you have another empty space. Is Harry here?" 

"No, Jay." Liam answered, "We haven't been able to get him out of bed." 

"Right." Jay responded, "This is probably really tough on him. I mean it's tough on all of you, but if I remember right Harry and Louis were together?" 

"Yeah."

"This must have hit him hardest then."

"I mean it hit us all pretty hard," Zayn answered next, "but yeah. We've never seen Harry like this. He really really is not himself. He hasn't been up for any interviews, shows, signings or anything. He's not doing well at all." 

"Well let him know we are thinking about him." Jay continued, "Speaking of shows...how are you handling all of this with tours?" 

"Well," Niall answered, "we haven't talked about tour since the accident. We've actually postponed our next tour so we can figure out things. We plan on continuing this because Louis would have wanted that, but it will take some time. Especially since Harry is really down right now, we can't tour with just three of us. We need the four, but Harry might take longer than the rest of us. Getting on planes with just the three or four of us is very hard right now. We will continue touring, no doubt, but we need sometime. We just hope the fans will understand what we are going through right now..." 

"...We know it's hard for them," Liam added, "and we understand that. However, only a few of them knew Louis, but they only knew him for a brief moment. We knew him for years. He was our oldest brother and we need some time to cope with this and get back on our feet. We also need some extra time to get Harry back on his feet. Like Niall said, we will tour again, but it may not be for some time." 

"Who takes Louis' solo's now?" Jay asked, reading off a card. 

"We haven't completely decided that yet." Zayn answered, "I'm sure that will be arranged when we go back on tour, but like we said we need time." 

"Can you give us a hint about the upcoming movie?" Jay asked, trying to change the subject. 

"Oh yeah, Louis can-" Zayn froze, realizing what he had done. 

There was a moment of awkward silence, then Jay spoke again.

"Thanks for coming boys." he continued, realizing they had had enough, "You are in our prayers and Louis is  in our thoughts." 

Niall, Liam and Zayn all shook their head. "Thank you." they answered in sync.

Nothing was going to feel right without Louis ever again. Not having Harry either made it even harder for them to handle these things. They really needed to get Harry back on his feet, but they all knew that doing so was going to be almost impossible.
